We stayed two nights here. Very nice rooms, quiet and soundproofed. Bathroom was large, just right, but counter space was a little limited. Room had an electric kettle and a small coffee pot, very nice. Beds were comfortable, wifi was great. Small balcony outside the room, with a lovely view of the lake and grounds. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Tanner took us on a nature walk one morning, very nice. And a canoe ride. This is a pretty place, but not much to do there if you don't golf. There are some short hikes in the area, but you will need a vehicle to get farther away from the hotel.
I was travelling on a quick trip and was always curious about this place and so I booked and stayed, checkin person was unfriendly she was short and not friendly compared to the other staff. The room is basic with a small outdoor patio and access to the lake. The restaurant is not for me, the food is bland lack of flavour
We had a wonderful time, the rooms are very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Our view was magnificent from our room. We ate in the restaurant and the food is so fresh, 5 star for sure. We would totally recommend this beautiful serene Lodge. We also golfed and it's one of the nicest golf courses in BC.
This serene full service lakeside resort is nestled away in the forests on Little Shuswap Lake located on the Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band. The guest rooms are adequate in size and tastefully decorated with actual photos of the people of Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band and artworks from many types of craft backgrounds i.e. pressed flowers, paper, etc. The suites are large with one and a half bathrooms complete with soaker tub and separate shower. Spa is worth visiting with many services available to suit even the fussiest client. Indoor swimming, hot tub, etc. is available. Golf course is located on the property with golf carts available at the front door. Free wifi. Restaurant off the lobby. Check -in and out is a breeze. Ample parking. Wonderful location for families with children of all ages.
My husband and I just stayed with another couple for 2 nights. It was our 2nd trip there and we'll definitely return! The lodge is beautiful and it's in a spectacular setting. All of the hotel staff were super friendly, including the restaurant which has great food. We played at Talking Rock and really enjoyed the course. This is really a gem!
What a wonderful setting by the lake. The lodge itself was well designed with every effort made for every room to have a view of the lake. And there are some amazing carvings incorporated into the building. Well done to Tanner who gave us an entertaining but informative insight into the local Shuswap culture and their plans. Great meals, comfortable rooms. Check out the mural that is down one level for some reason, near the kitchens.
We had 2 nights here during a Vancouver to Jasper drive. My favourite of all the hotels we stayed at. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are really good. We had a suite with a king bed, spa bath, fireplace and large balcony that looked out over the lake. It was magic. The restaurant had nice meals, average price for a golf club resort. Would love to return here. The grounds are well kept and nice to stroll around. Highly recommend!
We stayed here on a coach tour and the place was magnificent, lots of history in the place, around the grounds. Room was excellent with lovely views. Food was exceptional. Lodge is on a golf course but we didn't use it. So quiet that you forget where you are.
We were here for a very large wedding and seriously you wouldn't know they didn't do this everyday. I felt like I could ask any of the staff any question and they would know the answer or find it. They remembered us and gave great tips of places to explore. THE hospitality was amazing..hands up to you all.
The golf course, organisation and staffing were all excellent. The golf course is very serene and each hole is seperate from the others, feels like you are alone. The practice facilities are great. Would play again if we visit again. We ate both dinner and breakfast. Overall dinner was very good although my wife's seafood chowder was disappointing (like it was from a tin.) Breakfast was really good. Salmon Eggs Benedict was possibly the best I have had. Accommodation was very nice with lake views.
