Close to grounds and a good deal for the price. My room had a mini fridge and free breakfast which was nice and unexpected.

Noise in corridor and no wall isolation Couldn’t check in a 3:00 pm

Quit and beautiful room, big garage which is free Check in people very nice

Beautiful setting (on UVA campus). Friendly staff everywhere. Check in was quick and easy. Accommodated a late check out request. Refrigerators in room. Breakfast served in classy Abbott Hall. Only downside - parking was a 5 minute walk from the room.

Very quiet. Immaculate rooms and a great breakfast. Also a great location for UVA and the medical center.

Extremely clean. Very close to the main UVA campus. It was a great value and I would definitely stay there again.

It’s quiet and pleasant. The staff very accommodating.

Great hospitality from staff, excellent location. It's going to be renovated at the end of this year and I can see why---dated fixtures, decor, etc. I'm looking forward to returning after the renovation!

Great location and easy access to the campus. Parking was also convenient.

Nice and quiet. Safe university environment. Room was clean and price was reasonable.

The room was very small and not very clean. It had a really weird layout to the room as well. The bed was not super comfortable and we couldn't use the heat because it set off the fire alarm in the room. The parking lot was fairly far from where the room was so had to park in the lot and walk the campus in the dark late as we got to the hotel later in the evening. You could park out front for 5 minutes to unload and load the car but it said your car would be towed if left longer than that so I didn't want to take any chances. The desk person was nice during check in. It was right on campus but we were there for the University hospital so I think staying off campus would have been a closer option. It was farther than I thought it would be. I don't think I would stay here again.

The University of Virginia Inn at Darden is an outstanding option for people wishing to visit Charlottesville. The location at the Business School is close enough to the Rotunda to walk but outside the hub bub of downtown Charlottesville. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. There is an onsite pub that is under utilized and - for that reason - a great place to go for an after dinner drink. Overall, an excellent place to stay at a rate that is low enough that one wonders whether those running it went to business school.

Very good staff and room but the Inn does not have shelter from rain and snow for guests walking from the registration desk to the rooms or to the place where breakfast is served which is a block away.
