The rooms were a little dated, the layout of the room was a bit odd, but overall it was very clean in the staff were friendly. Cute, unique place nice for something different if you’re used to chain hotels. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. I would stay there again.

The staff are kind. Liked the fruit to pick up free at check in. Didn’t like the outside bright lights on all night with sheer curtains in my room. This made the room be too light to sleep at times. I asked for another room on opposite side of building but the clerk said those lights surround the whole building. Next time I will bring something to cover my eyes

The room had some questionable stains/marks in the bathroom and on the sheets. The front desk lady that checked us in wasn’t the friendliest, but the lady that checked us out was. Otherwise a very nice stay.

I am a frequent visitor due to my brother's illness and my room is comfortable and clean. There may be some slight cosmetic eyesores in the rooms such a scratches on the table or chipping paint, but overall, it is a comfortable environment. Showers have worked well, adequate soap and towels and no clogs. Heat and air conditioning run well. I have been to many hotels around the area since May, 2025, and the English Inn is truly one of the better places to stay.
