In town visiting friends and needed somewhere to stay. Have stayed here before and liked it so decided to stay again. Price is very reasonable.

The clerk was constantly on her phone arguing and using loud profanity. Her greeting to me was, whatchew want? I swear she said it. I called down to tell them my toilet wasn't working. She said she would call me back. She didn't call back. I go down to the desk an hour later. She says yeah? Which is better than whatchew want I guess. I say I called about the toilet not working. She says Awww Sh-t, I forgot about that. I stayed 3 awful nights. The first day they didn't even bother to clean my room. I called down and asked them to at least send up some towels. She says, you have to come get them. So I go down and she ignores me for 15 mins, while she chats on her phone. Whatchew want? I called about the towels.... Follow me. (Of course she didn't have them ready for me or even allow me to wait there) so she drags me to the towel closet. I am still not sure why. All in all this place is a big pain and not worth the semi-low price.

The hotel was very clean and nice the staff was pretty nice and helpful I will stay again.....and the food was OK.......

Typical Microtel experience; room was clean and properly serviced. Unexpected amenities: Iron and ironing board; hair drier; supply of shampoo, soap, lotion, conditioner. Wi-Fi available, but used my own hot spot. Seemed to always be people hanging around the parking lot.

As soon as I walked in there were 3 men hanging out in the lobby drinking from a bottle of vodka. The doors on the rooms looked as if an animal had chewed the bottom. Horrible, dirty, and just all around gross!

Hotel needs to be renovated. stains in the carpet. The floor makes noise while you are walking- on the third floor. Room smelled. Asked to be refunded because I was not staying in that room- denied.

Too much for 1 night. Renovations are needed for entire hotel

It was okay. Decent place to lay your head for a short stay. My only issue is that the walls are paper thin. You could hear everything going on in the hallways and door slams. I found the front desk staff to be helpful.

It served the purpose. The bed felt like it ha d dip in the middle... there was no remote to turn tv so that wasn't cool

The hotel is ok...it could be alot cleaner on the bottom floor rooms. Really feeling safe too.

I was concerned about amount of construction in the area. There were really no issues. Check in was easy, room (smoking room) was in good shape--especially for smoking room. In general, the hotel was quiet and well kept.

Room was good for the price comfortable bed, desk, etc. Free breakfast was not a big variety, but OK. Staff was very friendly.

Very convenient and close to work and very quiet. The staff were nice and professional.

Enjoyed my stay the front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. I will stay there again for sure!

In town for 1 night and it was a great stay, room was very nice and clean, flat screen TV, nice mattresses, big fridge. Enjoyed our stay, will stay there again if coming back to Charlotte area.

I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Microtel Inn and Suites. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

The staff is outstanding and service oriented. If you're looking for a comfortable bed and hot shower, this is the place. Breakfast is simple but offers enough. The hair dryer had more power than the shower head. Four of us stayed for a couple of nights. They are beginning to do some renovations which are a step-up. I would stay again if the rate was competitive just because of the staff being great.

I've been in Charlotte on business for 4 weeks now. This hotel is tbe best value I've found. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and modern. What is really amazing though is tbe staff. Talia, Darin, Sara, EVERYONE there, even tbe housekeepers are excellent, friendly, fast, and attentive. That makes a huge difference to me. This is why I stay at this particular hotel.

I booked non smoking room and got smoking room on smoking floor. I had rude check in. I got handicapped room and not handicapped. Could smell smoke from hallway. I had to put two rolled up bath towels at bottom of two doors so I wouldn't smell smoke. Cannot park on side of hotel. In room 201 located at side of hotel. Had to haul luggage through front of hotel. Not very convenient.

I'm low maintenance. Give me a room that's clean and has running water, and I'm good. Nice TV in the room, polite staff, very clean. Very happy for the price I paid.
