Overall the property was ok and met our needs. The home is situated on a very very busy street. A very noisy neighborhood. Pots and pans are in need of replacement. Only a place setting for 4 people with some plates and coffee mugs missing. Constantly running the dishwasher because of so few table settings. Toilet seat in one of the bathrooms was loose. No extra bath towels in the linen closet. One set per guest.

Home away from home!

We felt at home the minute we walked in the door. We felt safe, comfortable and cozy! The home backs up to a beautiful greenbelt and there is an area for guests to sit out there and enjoy nature. There are lots of great restaurants and entertainment just minutes away. The hosts did a good job with this place and I am a bit persnickety about the short term rentals and hotels I book. In fact, my best friend owns multiple short term rentals and I secret stay at the places to help improve the stays for the guests, so I may be a bit more reproving than the average guest. We really enjoyed our stay! The area around the property is being revitalized, and there is a lot of residential and commercial new construction taking place. The drive from the airport almost gave me pause, but there was no need, we felt completely safe and in fact, there is a police station right around the corner. We will stay here again! We treated it like it was our own home and we hope future guests will too so that this gem will continue to be one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed! Thank you!

Let me start off by saying my review is based on a very extended stay. The house is exactly as advertised, could use a good carpet cleaning and some touch ups but nothing that would prevent me from getting again short term. After about 3 weeks you notice several things of concern including the neighborhood is a bit suspect, the noise from traffic, trains, and the airport are very noticeable. Then you start to notice the more frustrating items, such as the bed-frames are all springs which you hear at night through the pillows while trying to sleep. You'll notice a feeling of a lack of privacy with the back yard camera overlooking the entire yard. There are few other quirky things as well but nothing that would cause me to not book. I found the most frustrating items to be that I had to pay for a vacuuming about 2 months in to a 4 month stay as the host did not offer to clean the house even after requesting it. I am not sure if this is a VRBO thing or host, but if the house was rented out 4 times in a month it would be cleaned 4 times. With a 4 month stay booked and no cleaning offered, I found this very frustrating. The host saves tons of cleaning fees and the guests are on the hook for it, i had to get my own vacuum just to maintain the space which was out of pocket and pay for the one vacuuming that I requested, yet the host had no problem inconveniencing me with mandated pest control appointments. Once a month cleaning should he mandated by VRBO at the host expense.
