Best part of this property was the location. We were in the heart of old downtown Charleston so we could walk to everything. We spent 3 days and never took our car out of the parking lot. Parking is very expensive so we opted for valet. There were so many places to eat and so little time.

Second time staying at the Lodge Alley Inn and this stay was even better than our first visit a year & half ago. We stayed in a 2-story loft unit and it was beautiful and very comfortable and spacious. Friendly staff. You can access the High Cotton restaurant from inside the resort near the check-in desk, which is very convenient. The only recommendation I would make is to change the beds to King size instead of Queen size. There is plenty of room for a King bed and is much more comfortable for couples.Ideal Location and walking distance to great restaurants and sightseeing.

What a great find in the heart of Charleston's Historic District. With the bedroom and bathroom on the second-floor loft, and the kitchen and living room downstairs, this unit felt large and inviting. Tastefully decorated, super-clean and well maintained. The location in the Historic District was perfect for walking to so many great places and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
