Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great location, close to downtown amenities. Enjoyed having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Comfortable living room and bedrooms. Didn’t cook much as we were here to try different restaurants and watch our daughter and son-in-law run the Turkey Trot. It was a great Thanksgiving getaway.

This house was a cute place to stay in Charleston. The street was quieter and safe, the place was just as described. It was nice knowing we had an assigned parking spot, the spot was a little far from the house to unload luggage, however there is short term parking right in front of the house to load and unload. Overall a fabulous place to stay that lets you be immersed in the life of the city.

Beautiful home and great location
I was staying in downtown Charleston to help my daughter move. The location was perfect. Close to her apartment and walking distance from everything. The space was also gorgeous. Everything was very clean and up to date. Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, cute, and had an incredibly comfortable bed and pillows—it felt like home right away. There were two great coffee shops nearby, which was a nice bonus.This was our first time in Charleston, so we weren’t totally familiar with the area, but the location worked out well—especially having a parking spot, which made things so much easier.If I had one small note, I do wish it had been a bit more walkable to King Street, but that was on me for not checking the map more closely. Overall, a great stay and I’d absolutely recommend it!

Perfect Holiday in Charleston
My husband, nephew and I stayed here and it was the perfect spot! We walked to all of the restaurants and shops! Kitchen had all of the amenities we needed, beds were comfy and the place was perfect for our family over the Thanksgiving weekend!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was as pictured. The location was good. We drove to the downtown historic area and parked in convnient parking garages, but there was a lot within walking distance of the house also. The house was beautifully restored, while still having the character of a historic house. However, because it is older, it would not be appropriate for those having mobility issues.
