Perfect house for family gathering

We spent a long weekend with family in Charleston and used this house for several of us to stay and to have a common gathering spot. The house is spacious, recently updated, has several excellent common areas, and is close to many great restaurants, coffee shops, and a short walk from the bars on King St.

Best week with friends

Four high school friends from different parts of the country all met in Charleston for a week of reconnection and reunion. Our stay was perfect. The layout of the house gave everybody privacy yet the kitchen and the living room were perfect for gatherings. Accommodations were lovely and clean and comfortable. The location could not have been better. It was truly perfect. I would highly recommend staying here

Great house! Great time!

Plenty of space for everyone. With three couples it was nice to have an en suite for each. Really comfortable living area and kitchen! The property contact book needs to be updated and it would be helpful to label the location of the breaker box as we did need to reset a breaker while there. However, super minor issue and would 100% stay at this property again. It was beautiful and a convenient location.

A nice and comfortable house except the back house was extremely noisy on the second floor where the bedrooms of the main house were located. It was hard to get a good night's sleep.

Friends visiting Charleston for the first time

The house was beautiful!! It was spotless, very nicely furnished, and very comfortable. It looks brand new. We couldn’t believe it was renovated 3 yr ago. .The house was as described on VRBO. The rooftop patio is awesome! The neighborhood is very walkable. We.would stay there again. Olivia gave us great restaurant recommendations!

Charm and Amazing Convenience!

What a charming Single Row House! Add in the amazing convenience of a well thought out updated interior meeting all of our vacation needs plus the excellent physical location closeness to downtown Charleston made for our perfect vacation escape. Off-street parking is such a huge bonus. This is so rare in Charleston and we so much appreciated it. When backing the suv out for the activities that day, we typically had one person stand outside and watch for street traffic so the driver could safely back out onto the road. We were perhaps simply extra careful. However we had no issue or delays ever getting out as drivers on the street were very courteous. Finally, the roof top deck was the ultimate charm for us as we toasted each other to our amazing vacation memories. To The Madison House - Thank you!

We really enjoyed spending time at the property while exploring Charleston. The four of us each had our own bedroom and bathroom plus we had space to enjoy coffee and wine together. We found the property well located and clean and fresh, and the property management company responsive to our needs.

The house was beautiful and the location was within easy walking distance of some terrific restaurants. Communication was great. We left my grandson's favorite stuffed animal in the house--the host found it and mailed it back. Thanks!!

Beautiful Property, Lack of Cleanliness

My family and I were extremely excited about gathering in Charleston for the holiday to be able to spend time with each other. This location caught our eye because it was only 20 minutes away for our grandparents to travel to. Upon arrival we brought in all of our things and were excited to be there together. We didn’t arrive to the property I totality until about 1am everyone went their ways we noticed how the bathrooms, and bedrooms were not cleaned properly. There was dirt on the headboards, cob webs in all corners including the bathroom and kitchen and the floors were not swept. At this point we cleaned the space ourselves because we had a 4 month old baby with us and we did not want to expose her to the germs. The next morning there was trash left on front porch from people who were walking in the alley. That is when we noticed the windows were unlocked. We reached out to management to show photos with timestamps and discuss possible refunds of cleaning fees and were completely dismissed upon any solution. This was a unfortunate end to an otherwise beautiful experience. I hope that they will reevaluate their cleaning process and should anyone else experience this - look to provide better customer service.

Girls vacation!

Seven girlfriends came to eat and drink our way thru Charleston for the week. Five from California, one from Chicago and me (Charlotte). The house was perfect! Kitchen was superb, TV’s and full baths in every bedroom. Perfectly clean and decorated. Perfect location! We loved it!

Truly Amazing!!

The accommodations were amazing for a girls trip for many reasons but all ensuite allows us all to have privacy. Walking distance to King Street and many great coffee shops and restaurants a few blocks away. Rooftop deck was beautiful!! I wish we had more time yo enjoy the beautiful accommodations.

The Madison was a perfect vacation home for our family! all the bedrooms are well appointed and roomy. The style matches our personal taste and we all had a wonderful time there. Cousin's Annual Reunion

Our group of 6 was very at home in the Madison. The unit was immaculate, comfortable and had great spaces both inside and out for hanging out. The kitchen island was a perfect place to snack, sip and catch up. The management was responsive and always helpful. We highly recommend The Madison!

Girlfriends Retreat

The property is. beautifully renovated. The half bath needs a good scrubbing on the floor. I know they were going for the distressed look but the floor and baseboards look dirty. Had a problem with the dishwasher but they fixed it right away. Eight girlfriends stayed here and it was perfect for us. Great location, not far from the bus stops.
