Nice hotel. Close to Patriots Point and other attractions

I had a very nice stay, the room was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was a great location, right at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel bridge.

The hotel was nice and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was good but the cleaning crew parked their carts right in the way of guest trying to go to breakfast. Otherwise nice place to rest.

Very disappointed, floor was dirty and the room smelled awful. The whole hotel felt dirty. Would not stdy here again.

This was one of the less expensive hotels in the area but I can't think of anything negative other than the pool being a bit dirty. Staff was very friendly and the room was just fine and very clean. Easy check-in, good location, everything we needed, no bells or whistles.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is located closely to downtown Charleston, Patriots Point, Sullivan's Island, and Isle of Palms. The rooms are exceedingly small with a shower stall and toilet with a pocket door and a small sink area in the room. The bathroom and shower set up is reminiscent of a cruise ship cabin. There is a dank smell in the rooms. Smoking is allowed in designated rooms, and I believe this has an effect on the overall smell of the entire hotel. Luckily, I travel with room spray. The continental breakfast was nice with a waffle iron and biscuits & gravy, fruit, pastries, and cereals. I'd stay again if no other hotels had vacancies.

This hotel sucks me and my wife got there late already booking our room so we can just check in. We got there the power was off so they couldn't find us in the system so we had to search for rooms walking up and down stairs walking in on people.when we finally got the room it looked nasty. The room they give us the beds were for like the smallest and hardest in the world and also since they couldn't find us a room they give us another family room. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE I'LL SLEEP IN MY CAR!

There are no special mentions for this hotel. The room was clean and the location was great for being close to Charleston, without being in the city. The only complaint was that the toilet was leaking around the back of it, when I reported this to the front desk they said they would fill out a maintenance ticket for it. The following morning the raw sewage smell was so bad, that I returned to the desk with a second request that they please fix during the day while we were out of the room. Again, nothing done. Customer service gets a 0. These rooms were over $100 a night. Value gets a 0.

Staff was great, just was disappointed about the cleanness of the room. Breakfast were ok, its like motel standart breakfast.

Great staff and location, the room was a little small for 2 people with suitcases and a computer. The refrigerator made up for it and the helpful staff

The hotel is not fantastic but is fine enough. The only problem is that they placed us in a smoking room. For non-smokers, that is torture! The pillows were embedded with that smell and there was no way to avoid breathing it.

Nice staff, good breakfast, location good for city center. Cleaning staff was disgraceful.

Checked in a litle later. Got last room. Desk Clerk was not there. Found out he was trying to dry our floor in the room. He said it was from shampooing but the carpet and the tile floor was saturated from what seemed like the toilet running over. The door to the bathroom would not shut and we would have to leave room if someone needed to use toilet or shower. We cancelled the rest of our stay. Great help in getting cancelled even though we had to over pay for the one night. Do not stay here unless you want a dirty room and super small bathroom.

I have to travel to Mount Pleasant for business on a regular basis and usually stay here because it is relatively quiet and very convenient (despite being beside the bridge and adjacent to the seemingly never ending construction project that is hwy 17) I have always been impressed with the customer service of the check in and concierge staff, and by Carol in particular. She is the reason I give the staff a 5 star rating! She is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and I think she provides a gold standard of service I would more expect to find at a high dollar hotel (and there are plenty of those in this area!)

It was okay. No extra anything. The staff was nice.

off main road so a quiet comfy place to stay would stay there again

We had a great weekend in Charleston. The Sleep Inn is in a good location. So many attractions are a quick drive away. It is far enough off the main road, so it was a very quiet location. The only issue that I had was the bathroom did not have a tub. I thought if you had a young child that could not get in the shower, that might be a downer! Overall, we had a good experience and would stay there again.

Everything was good except for the guests on the 2nd floor kept slamming their doors. Maybe only letting them shut on their own but happened frequently and all thru the night.

We really enjoyed the stay. The room was nice the location was great and the front desk staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was the lady that was working the breakfast room. It was very busy and there were some extremely obnoxious children but she as not even trying to give service with a smile and she was taking her time refilling the different breakfast items making for a miserable breakfast.

It is nicely located close to downtown as well as the beaches. It was a perfect spot for work and the Medical university. The waffles on the complimentary breakfast buffet were the best.
