8/10 Good

Probably the best Charleston hotel you can get for the price. However, there were some issues during my week-long stay:
1) The hot water in the kitchen sink would not work, for some reason. I am not sure if this problem is present in every room or if I just got unlucky. The hot water in the bathroom worked fine though.
2) The bathrooms in the hotel do not contain normal shower heads, but rather those magnetic ones that sort of resemble garden hoses. The ones that the hotel uses do not have a swivel ball pivot attached to them, meaning that the water always sprays in one direction (the far left side of the bathtub) when the shower head is mounted and cannot be adjusted. This makes showering quite inconvenient.
3) The toilet in the bathroom sometimes does not flush even after pulling the handle to flush it. Apparently this is "normal" according to the hotel, and requires you to open up the back of the toilet and pull a piece up in order to fill the tank with water. This became tedious quickly and is not something I want to be doing while on vacation.
All in all, it was a fairly pleasant stay. I didn't have any problems outside of the ones mentioned above. The hotel staff was very kind, and I would probably choose this hotel again if I were to revisit Charleston.
