Booked room to get some sleep for an early morning flight the next day. Arrived 10pm, requested wake up call at 5am. Internet not working in room. Room was stuffy so turned on a/c and went to bed. A/c wasn't working properly so kept on waking up during the night. That turned out to be fortunate, because wake up call never came! Was uncomfortable and woke up at 5:30am on my own. ALMOST MISSED MY FLIGHT. Complained to Quality Inn corporate, haven't heard a word back from them. Skip this place!!!

Even though a lot of the place was under renovation it could have been cleaner. Our room smelled musty but seemed clean other than that. Was OK for a quick overnight stay.

For 80 bucks it's not worth it. Don't be deceived by the pictures. Hallways are dirty, rusty and not maintained well. The room was worse, carpet was black you should have seen our feet. Again not maintaining well. Bathroom is rusty and molded. We would rather have spent more elsewhere.

The room was clean and comfortable and convenient to get to a coliseum concert and places to eat and shop.

The front desk people had to be the slowest I ever encountered. The breakfast was above expections with eggs, sausage, cereal and plenty of coffee. The room HVAC unit was so noisey it was hard to sleep, but the room was clean, comfortable and well maintained.

The rooms smell was horrible, Breakfast personel and food were satisfactory

Good place to stay! Would satay again! Reasonable price

We arrived on a Friday and the parking lot was rather empty compared to the other hotels nearby, which caused us to be concerned about safety. However, by Saturday, the hotel was full and we felt a little better. It is located very close to Tanger Outlets, Walmart, Sam's Club, and several nice restaurants. It was about 15 minutes from downtown Charleston. The two staff members at the front desk were friendly. The room was clean. It appears to be an older hotel, but is maintained pretty well. We were located on the first floor near the front of the hotel, so we heard a lot of foot traffic outside our door. Breakfast is served from 6-9am on weekdays and 6-10am on weekends. They served cheese omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, bagels, muffins, cereal, packaged grits, etc. It was okay. It was nice that check-out was at 11am. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel, this is acceptable. Next time we will probably spend a little more $ and find something closer to downtown.

Hotel was fine, staff nice, little mix up with credit card that caused a double charge, but manager fixed it quickly.

I have two young children traveling with me, I check in and get to the room and it's reeks of the smell of smoke. Staff could not get me into a different room to accommodate. I couldn't get refunded so I had to stay. Very unorganized. The pillows are the size of pillows you would use on your sofa. The hair dryer didn't work. The tub was clogged. Rust was on the shower rod. Lamp was missing a lightbulb. The fan in the bathroom did not work. Location was the only good thing about this place. I would never stay again. My experience from a 1-5 would be a zero. Check out was at 11am, we woke up and were out of the place by 8am. Terrible experience.

We stayed here last-minute. The front desk staff was not enthusiastic or happy seeming. The room was okay. The sink was badly clogged. The shower was okay. The toilet was peeling. Breakfast was pretty good (variety of cold options and sausage, eggs, and waffles). Location is excellent: close to a walmart and tanger outlets.

We always stay at red roof in mt pleasant. The n charleston was not as comfortable nor safe feeling. Staff was great!

Check in was easy. Staff was excellent. Room was clean. Felt safe.

The good: the staff-very helpful in getting the cable to work in my room and very friendly at the front desk. Bed was comfortable. Located next to Tanger Outlets for those who feel a need to shop. Breakfast was ok. The bad: hotel is located right next to the Interstate 26. Could not sleep because of the traffic noise. Walls and windows must be very thin. Plumbing fixtures did not attach to the wall, rug was dirty and dusty. Mirrors had smudges and I think a bugger from a sneeze. Got in late after driving 600 miles (hate to fly these days). If not so tired, I would have searched out another hotel.

The hotel was in a convenient location to restaurants and shopping. It was very clean and the hardwood floors are nice touch. The staff was friendly but not very helpful. I would stay again.

It is a decent enough place to stay. Felt safe, near the mall, staff was nice enough. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect, no worse, no better. Only complaint would be the shower only had cold water one morning. Waiting a bit warmed it up but if I was in a rush this would have been a problem.

I did not get a chance to experience the hotel to relax, because I was always on the go.

OK if you are on a budget. Staff was friendly, breakfast was average, room was old but repainted and clean inside.

Nice hotel. Even better Jacuzzi tub. Complimentary breakfast was good and staff kept it stocked.

None of the ice machines were working. Breakfast was not that good ran out of everything the first morning , second morning no one putting breakfast out. Had no hot water until about three in the morning to take a shower. The staff was very nice and helpful in making our trip around the attractions.
