Nice, newly renovated exterior lobby area, and breakfast area. But what I learned is that you can't judge a book by its cover. The hallways, workout facility, elevators, and my room were not brought up to the date in the renovations. That was disappointing. It looks like they put money into the appearance of the place and pictures for the internet, but not the rest of the place. The elevator did not work well, the hallways had old carpeting and were not super clean. The workout facility had some bad looking ceiling tiles, etc.

The staff was very accomadating for me i am disabled put me in best room for and also my friend

Customer service was great. Hotel itself was clean and fancy looking. Wish we could have stayed longer. Myself and my family loved it there!!!

Ice machine on my floor out of order the whole stay, soda vending machine too expensive@$1.75. AC not adequate for room space. needs a major renovation

Although the staff were, on occasion, unavailable (such as early in the morning when we needed to check out), the complementary breakfast, amenities, and overall comfort of the room were far more than I expected from what had been rated a 2-star hotel. The place was nice, and for its value, quite worth it. Good location, not too far from the airport. Rooms were kept clean. When we did see them, the staff were friendly and efficient.

This hotel was one of my best stays ever at Comfort Suites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, large, and A/C worked great. Location was perfect, about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, including made to order omelets. Plenty of others eating options near-by. I would stay here everytime I visited Charleston.

We had a great experience at the Comfort Suites in North Charleston. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating (especially Adam).

The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, but my room reeked of smoke. The pool was extremely dirty and this was the "smoking" area, so it was disgusting and completely uninviting. Happy hour was a nice touch and the fridge in the room was helpful.

The room layout was very nice, with a couch, bed and several tables. The property still seemed very new. It was a pet-friendly property, and all of the pets were very well-behaved.

If we return to Charleston, this will be our first hotel choice again & again. Location is close to the interstate & across the street from Ruby Tuesday & McDonalds. We saved money by eating breakfast at the very generous in house bar that included omlets. There is a weekday happy hour from 5-7pm wher they serve free adult beverages in the lounge. Very friendly staff, from front desk to maid service to breakfast attendants.

This hotel had friendly staff and was in a good location, it was close to all kinds of attractions, without being in the middle of downtown. The hotel was clean.

Totally enjoyed the local restaurants, historic sites, hotel breakfast, and the weather cooperated completely.

Friendly service. Happy Hour was an unexpected treat and much appreciated. Thumbs up.

hotel was very good, would definately stay there again with one exception. there was a motorcycle group staying there that had alot of fun. i ride a motorcycle, so i understand their mind set. the hotel was not set up to handle them appropiately. it was not a good experience for my wife and i. we had to switch rooms, deal with loud noise and very improper actions and activities, during our stay.

Great motel at a competitive place. Clean and well equipped, it was located just five minutes from malls and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!,

The hotel room was kind of our home away from home. We were all day going places and then returned to relax and rest. It would help if besides breakfast they had a small restaurant or cafeteria, but there were plenty of places to eat outside and nearby the hotel.

Amazing accomodations, great breakfast. Staff was great and friendly. Housekeeping could have been better. Didnt make the bed one day as my daughter left a stuffed animal on the bed and did not clean the bathroom but overall not bad.

Nice, clean, up to date hotel. Staff very friendly and helpul. Nice, free, breakfast buffet each morning. Free happy hour! We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

Comfort Suites is in a good location, north of the airport. It is close to the freeway and there are good restaurants within a few miles. The hotel is clean and quiet. Overall a good value. I stayed 5 nights on a golf vacation. A few glitches that I experienced: - Did not get the wakeup call that I requested one of the mornings of my stay. - The room key would not 3 of the 5 nights. I was told that it should not be kept in a wallet but it wasn't, it was in my pocket. - The room was not made up on one of the days.

Trip was nice. Hotel was outstanding.
