Everything was fine. The only complaint I have is that with breakfast, the bananas they had almost had a gray hue to them kn the skin. As if they were going bad. That's not appealing if you are trying to have customers eat them.

I did have to deal with a one big roach entering my room. I brought this to the attention of the front desk. They offered to move me or clean the room. I asked for housekeeping to do a "deep clean." My stay here was ok. I was not too happy about the visitor, though.

Disappointed for the money

There was a lot of construction taking place around the hotel and it was raining so the journey in was a bit messy. The parking leaves a lot to be desired, as the spaces are sparse and small. Upon arrival, the person who greeted us was extremely kind and friendly. After entering the room, I noticed that there were several questionable stains on the dark brown sofa. I then proceeded to look around the bathroom to see many small hairs on the floor. I also, observed stains on the comforter that were the color of blood. During the night the room got really hot and muggy, as if the air wasn’t working properly. The phone on the table was old and dirty. Lastly, when exiting the hotel, the front desk staff were talking to each other and were rude when we said goodbye.

Prepaid our reservation. When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and had no room for us. They sent us to their "sister property " and assurred me that the room would have the same setup for our family of 4, 2 beds plus a sofa bed. When we check in at the next hotel they gave us a room with 1 bed and tiny sofa bed with an absolutely unacceptable "mattress " that No other rooms avaliable and I was told they were doing us a favor. I had to ask for sheets, blankets, pillows. We were NOT given a comparable room and were NOT compensated in any way.

We waited for 40 minutes for a person at the reception desk to come to help us check in. No safe in room for valuables to be stored. Called the front desk, the clerk said they had a safe at the front desk for guests, when I got there they told me it wasn't for guest. These people are either new or not trained correctly. I have to say they staff is friendly overall l.

Other than the friendliness of the staff, this hotel did not deliver the typical Marriott experience. The bed was lumpy, the paint in the bathroom was peeling off the wall, the shower did not drain well and there was mold around the lower half of the tile. The room smelled musty and it looked as if no one has ever cleaned the area around the air conditioning unit. Although, the hotel was located close to the interstate, the area surrounding it seemed unsafe. I saw one couple in the lobby that gave the impression that prostitutes may frequent this hotel. I did read one review where the guest was upset because he/she was kept awake by a dog barking nearby; although, I did occasionally hear a dog bark, it was nothing compared to the rooster that lived nearby. Starting around 5am and continuing for at least an hour, my family was kept awake by the incessant crow of a rooster. Needless to say, I will not be staying here ever again and would advise others to consider staying somewhere else.
