We had just experienced a hotel too close to the two highway intersections and truck noise and this was an oasis from that. The room was wonderful. The housekeeping staff were always courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was perfect for us and I would suspect for anyone who would stay there. We had a choice of scrambled egg, sausage and oatmeal for a hot breakfast every morning. There were Belgium waffles weekends and fresh fruit weekdays., walnuts, raisins, dried apricots and brown sugar. everyday. Cold cereal, granola and yogurt was also available. 3 kinds of juice, apple, orange and cranberry. Coffee and tea as well.

I stayed here with a friend for one night, as our base for a quick tour of Charleston. The hotel is new and clean. Check in and out was fast and easy. The room was big enough but the kitchenette is laughably small, though sitting area is of good size. The beds are so-so. Bathroom was clean but don't come with a vent or fan. TV size is good but outdated. Our window view was creepy, with woods and some old, run down house pretty close by. The best feature of this hotel is the awesome breakfast! Real good sausages and eggs, pancakes and lots of fruits and cereals. The attendant in the breakfast area was helpful and polite too. Driving to Charleston is a quick 15 to 20 minutes via an albeit busy expressway. Will definitely consider this hotel again on my next trip to Charleston.

Not far from restaurants and shopping! Breakfast was great and staff was so nice. Rooms were beautiful. We found our new favorite place to stay!

Stayed for Christmas while visiting family. Good facilities and staff, particularly in light of all the families staying there.

Nice hotel, small pool, breakfast option is good,

We booked two rooms and found both rooms to be very clean, comfy, and convenient. We would definitely stay again.

Nice room for night before flight out. Clean room and convenient to airport. Shuttle wasn't available for early morning flight.

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The suites provide a perfect combination of convenience with regards to space, particularly with kids, and value. Would recommend this particular hotel to anyone who wishes to be close to Charleston without paying disproprotionate prices.

We had stayed there about two years ago. It was comfortable enough but has since been updated. It had new furniture and I believe new mattresses. Very comfortable with a delicious breakfast including fresh fruit and oatmeal, which I like.

Very comfortable and accommodating. Great place to stay!

Very friendly staff, super clean, and excellent breakfast!!!

Very nice hotel with a good breakfast and pleasant staff

This was an overnight stay and convenient for us. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and check-in and out was expedient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was also a quiet room which was nice. We would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was so nice and clean and the breakfast was very nice. Rooms are nice and big.

Shower was dirty but cleaned within 30 minutes of informing the staff.

The hotel was very impressive and was large enough to accommodate my family. The guest reception was very friendly and informative and breakfast was ok. The only negative experience I had was with a member of the housekeeping staff on the 4th floor. Maybe I should not have approached her, but is it too much to expect a little courtesy? Instead I received was a look of disgust I did receive the item I was requesting, however.

I had a coupon for $30 off the room per night and they would not honor it nor were they even nice about it. I will NEVER stay at a Marriott affiliated hotel again. Unless, they want to make this right. I have almost 1,000 friends on facebook and I plan to tell them all of my experience which reaches a lot of people. Not only do I have that many friends that reads my posts but they have friends too.

We were in town for Citadel Homecoming. Much less expensive that downtown hotels with easy access to the freeway and a straight shot to the campus in about 20mins. Great breakfast with lots of variety and hot items - waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage.

The pullout sofa had dried feces on the mattress. Also, the room had not been vaccumed as there were several bobby pins on the floor. Breakfast was nice, however, and staff friendly and location was good. But, next time we will choose another location.

The staff made our trip truly enjoyable. The rooms were clean and quite.
