The cottage was in a safe, pleasant community with its on private gravel dive. The cottage was spacious and offered a large cooking area with a dining area and comfortable living room. We found the cottage a great place to work out of and to sleep and relax. The king size bed was comfortable. The owner checked in with us with directions for entry and was open to communication regarding any of our needs. We highly recommend this rental.

Fantastic location as a base camp for daily excursions in and around the greater Charleston area. Patrick provided great communication and the cottage was very clean and comfortable like a 2nd home.

The home is as described on the site. We enjoyed our stay. Overall pros and cons…Pros - very quiet, clean and well stocked throughout the house. Excellent communication from host. Nice backyard. Comfortable bed. Cons - not walkable to anything, have to drive to places on James Island (5-10 minutes) or downtown Charleston (20 minutes). Also the home lacks any character or charm although it is well furnished.
