Comfortable room for the night on the way to the eclipse. Comfortable room with fridge, microwave & coffee. Modest complementary breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff was really nice and made us feel welcome. The room was ok but it did have a musty smell and it just needs updated. The breakfast needs to be improved, nothing looked good at all. A lot of partying going on in the hotel and bad language.

My husband and I were in town for a marathon so we really just needed a place to lay our heads, but chose this because the room had microwave, frig and coffeemaker. All were functional and the wireless internet was strong and easily accessed. My disappointment was the lack of hottub, which I really needed after 26.2 miles. The staff said it wasn't functioning. Fortunately, the Days Inn next door allowed me to use their pool (sweet angels!). The beds were also pretty aged so it wasn't the most comfortable stay. All things considered, I would not stay here again.

We were going to a wedding in Champaign and needed a one night only room. The hotel was nothing special, but also was not something our of a horror movie. You can have a good night of sleep and a comfortable place to head to once you are in for the night.

Some coworkers and I were in town just for one night to attend a symposium at U of Illinois. The hotel was just what we needed - just a room for the night; no bells and whistles or gimmicks. The price was right and the location, while not as close to Urbana as would be optimal, was fine.My only complaint is with the woman working the night shift (we checked in later in the evening). She was too busy talking on her cell phone to pay attention to me saying I'd booked on [...], and so nearly charged me for the rooms again. Her unapologetic attitude and unprofessional attitude made me leery of the whole operation, but the rest of our stay was fine.

Great location to attend U of I homecoming when local motels were booked. Only 14 miles to Champaign. We were gone during the day but breakfast was typical Best Western without waffle iron, but sufficient, bed was very good, and quick trip to campus made a great week-end. Much fast food nearby.

The Best Western Heritage Inn, Rantoul met my need; I was in town for a funeral and I wasn't looking for a lot of amenities. The room size was adequate for one person, the vanity area and the bathroom were fine, except that the hair dryer burned out while I was using it. The breakfast would have been adequate for a continental breakfast except that in spite of there being few guests, the coffee was out and the juice machine was empty. I was there midway through the breakfast hours. Also when I checked in the clerk was unable to give me ideas about where to shop and when she mentioned a shopping place in Champaign-Urbana, she could not give me directions. Maps would have been helpful.
