Well placed on ski slope, close to lifts (quite a lot), steep hills and forests around it, nearest neighbours a way off - a perfect hideaway. Our large group stayed in-between seasons so the Hotel was largely at our disposal: club/library like lobby, breakfast room (great selection), cellar like dining room (set menu for us), huge indoor swimming pool. Outside preparations for the summer season were in evidence: upgrading large kiddies playground, finishing big wading pool. The Hotel is rather rambling structure but still easy to get around. Room was clean, comfy, has safe, fridge, hairdryer. Staff welcoming, gives out electric kettles at reception. Down slope is a little commercial center with a tiny pond. I enjoyed my stay, maybe you `ll too !

Pleasant 3 nights stay even in rainy weather. We visited Demanovska cave, Besenova spa and Liptovsky Mikulas. Nice walk around Vrbice pleso lake and also to the symbolic cemetery of people that lost their life under avalanches, slipped of the rocks or hit a tree while skiing.

This hotel is in a great location for ski-in, ski-out for families with different needs. A large group of us were booked to stay in this hotel for February half term 2017, but unfortunately due to a series of mistakes/poor management by our tour operator 'MOUNTAIN PARADISE', we were forced to transfer to a hotel in another resort at the last minute, as were a number of other families. I emailed the hotel before our holiday and they were really pleasant and helpful and I believe that the mix up with our booking was not of their doing. I have also contacted them regarding our Feb 2018 ski holiday and they have been helpful and quick to respond to my emails. My advice if you want to stay in this lovely hotel would be to book your flights and accommodation independently. It's also really easy to book your ski school by email - I did this through a company called Ski School Smile, they are located very close to Hotel Druzba and they were super nice, and gave me a full refund when Mountain Paradise cancelled our holiday in this resort. You can also easily book your GoPass (skipass) online. You really don't need to go through a tour operator, especially an incompetent one. I have given this hotel a 4/5 for the location, facilities and friendly staff :) Obviously, I can't comment on the accommodation as we haven't stayed there yet, but we are hoping to in 2017. However, I would definitely NOT recommend Mountain Paradise.

Party of 6 arrived. Unfortunately the rooms we booked could not be supplied to each of the couples which was disappointing. The Receptionist was professional and tried to accommodate where she could in what was a full hotel. This was disappointing but didn't detract from what is a good value hotel, attentative and polite staff, good facilities, great spa area (although to be honest I think this should be free for guests). The breakfast was very good with a wide range of choice, hot or cold. The ski and ski out is fantastic through the adjoining ski hire shop. Hired sledges for the night which was great fun. The slopeside bar area has great food and is always busy. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again. Thanks.

Visited the hotel in march, nice clean hotel, right next to skiing slopes. Breakfast is tasty and plentyful, restoraunts in hotel are good, good food, there is a slight problem with language, not very many understand english, local language only, so be prepared for that. Spa is very good, lots of saunas, big pool, +18 part of spa is also availible. Spa is for extra money. Couple of negative things, WIFI is as bad as it can be, in 2017 i would presume that the wifi is basic human right but there its not working at all or very low. Rooms are ok, TV is small like a postcard, otherwise its ok. If you ask, would i go back, i probably will. Best time for skiing is right in the morning, by the noon the slopes are in very bad condition.

Nice, clean, stylish hotel. Located on the ski slope. Great facilities, including restaurant, wellness, swimming pool, lockers for ski, ski service and rental. Just perfect. Very profesional staff. Close to Happy End (music club). Only breakfast was not as great as it might seem or expect.

Good hotel ski in ski out. Also ski hire shop in hotel was very helpful and reasonable priced. Good area to ski in 75km of piste. Some icey runs later in the day. Night skiing from 6 till 9pm is available to practice your technique under floodlights. Hotel breakfast and downstairs restaurant good value for money. Very pleasant hotel staff. Rooms and hotel was clean and tidy. The wellness centre was excellent. This trip was organised by Tripping out travel please give them a try for all Taylor made holiday experience. GOOD TRIP.

Excellent location for skiing next to the ski lift. Very helpful and friendly staff with excellent food choices and quality. Clean room with great room service. Amazing wellness with outside pool. Will definitely recommend and return again. Only few slightly negative things. 1: Could do with more comfortable mattresses as they were very hard to sleep on. 2: 4* hotel shouldn't be charging €1.50 for tap water for residents with half-board! 3: Wearing the plastic red wrist bands for wellness package guests at all the time isn't very comfortable specially for children.( waking up with imprint on wrist with rash from sweaty skin from the plastic band) Should be redesigned to be able to take it off !

I have to say that this was the best experience in Slovakia so far. Great food, clean room and professional staff which is still a pain for Slovakia. Hotel is well placed next to the skiing lane with own parking.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, at the beginning of December 2016. I chose it especially for the wellness facilities, considering that the ski season was not begun yet. They opened the ski lifts in our last day there, but it was not a problem, we were informed and knew it. What we liked: - The hotel itself is really huge and has several merged/connected buildings, so if you want to go to a restaurant or to the pool you won’t have to get out in the cold. It also has a kids’ area with lot of toys for toddlers. - The highlight of the wellness center is the large pool (25 meters). There are also several jacuzzies, children pools, outdoor pool with hot water and saunas (adults only 18+). - Strange thing – there was a conference of a huge corporation that weekend but the pool was not very crowded. Also, I have to congratulate the staff because they managed very well the large corporation group for the dinners, as they were separated in a restaurant, and the rest of us, the regular guests, we were directed to another restaurant where we could have dinners like nothing happened. - The food was really good: in the first evening, they gave us something they already have prepared but for the rest of the evenings we received a form and they let us choose from several main dishes and soups. They also wanted to give us food for our little child even if we didn’t pay for him (not for accommodation and not for food either). Also, the breakfast was one of the most consistent breakfasts we ever had. Anything you wish for a breakfast you could find there (including on-spot prepared pancakes). What we didn’t like: -The economy room is small (we knew this anyway), but what we didn’t knew - the view from our room was awful: some roofs and this is all to see on the window (1st floor). They said that if I want a room at upper floor I must pay 5 eur/pers/night for the view (this was not specified in their offer). At first I agreed, and I went to see a 3rd floor room. But when I saw it I declined the offer, the view was not very different from our room, so we kept the 1st floor room. Besides, the 3rd floor room had a really old and used carpet. PS: if you want a good tip, when you make the booking you should ask for apartment/room in the building with slope view. I guess it has a stunning view (it could be much expensive as well). - At our last dinner, we had to wait a lot until they served. It was Saturday evening and the restaurant was pretty crowded that’s why the waitresses were very busy and could hardly take care of orders. - I also didn’t like that the price in the main season gets really high (double, comparing to how much we paid at the beginning of December), so for my next ski trip to Jasna I think I’ll be looking for another hotel/pension to stay in. - One more thing (this has nothing to do with the hotel): even if they announced the season opening on December 3rd, in the first day they actually opened just a few slopes only - blue slopes only, maybe 20% of the whole resort. However, the price of the skipass was the full price. Anyway, a good hotel that I recommend especially if you want to spoil you and your family with some good extra-facilities.
