Little House, Cute, Cozy Artist Cottage

Welcome to Little House, a charming and private cottage located at 809 5th Street, just a short walk from the quaint downtown area. This cozy one bedroom cottage features all the comforts of home. It has been lovingly maintained by the owners, who are local artists. The house includes a mix of antiques and new furniture, as well as many of the owners unique pieces of art. French doors in the master bedroom lead to a deck overlooking the private, shady back yard. There's off street parking and even room for a boat trailer.
Start your day relaxing on the back deck, sipping coffee, or listing to the birds, or sit on the front porch under the canopy of the ancient oak, dripping with Spanish moss.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washer/dryer, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

The Little House is awesome. Cuter than cute, artistic and whimsical decor, lovely quiet neighborhood. Relax on the front porch or the back deck - your choice. Walk to restaurants or to the beach. The perfect base for a Cedar Key holiday.

Cute, artistically decorated, clean, friendly host. However, we left day early after finding dirty roaches on kitchen counter. Bit palmetto bug which are common in Florida, but the longer thin nasty kind ..although all live roaches are revolting

The Little House, on the exterior, attracted us. Upon entering, we were immersed in a wonderful visual plethora of original art, books, kitch and collectibles effectively distributed throughout the house which contributed to our overall intrigue and enjoyment of this environment. The house was clean with ample amenities, located in a residential area but within walking distance to the center of town. Mike and Cindy, living nearby, introduced themselves to us and confirmed that their accommodations would meet our utmost expectations. This place is a little gem for a couple people to stay in Cedar Key. Would not consider staying anywhere else in our next visit to this wonderful part of Florida.
