Friendly Staff, nice view overlooking taal, nice room. Breakfast was also great. Enjoyed our family vacation in this Hotel. Hotel needs to be renovated it is already showing signs wear. Enjoyed playing table tennis with my kids. A good place to relax.

PROS: - Near markets/city proper. - Enough plated dinner/breakfast. - With golf cart/shuttle inside the premises. - With pool (no heater). - With enough parking space. - Big rooms. - With security guards and CCTV. - Wide hotel grounds. - Accommodating hotel staff. - Lots of trees. CONS: - Some rooms are old and some parts of hotel grounds are not so clean, there is an area that smells like septic tank. - CR has no exhaust fan. - Not so clean swimming pool and jacuzzi area. - The Children's playground is already dilapidated, thus our kid was not able to enjoy playing in the area. - Lacks modern amenities. - The golf cart/shuttle breaks down and too noisy. - Need more ramps, instead of stairs, it's a challenge bringing up/down your luggage from the main hotel going to santorini rooms and other distant rooms/areas. All in all, the staff are warm and the stay is relaxing since you have a view of Taal lake and you are surrounded by trees. Just need to modernize the facilities, keep it looking and smelling clean. Fix the play ground and add more amenities for guests to enjoy. Add more ramps, instead of stairs. Compensate your staff well, so that they will be more productive and happy in doing their duties. Thanks. God bless us all!

Estancia Hotel is 2 hours away from Manila (Light traffic), from sta. rosa-tagaytay road turn right. The location is good since it has a nearby 7 11, starbucks and near dreamland artsy cafe. The road going to the parking lot is a bit steep so ensure your car and driver. The rooms ranges from P5K to P7K but through Agoda it's cheaper (but some offers are without breakfast). They have sauna (you have to schedule), pool, game room (billiards, table tennis, table soccer which we really enjoyed), there's a playground for kids and offers spa for P600. The de luxe room is okay with two twin beds, but the lightings are a bit poor, with high ceiling (but if you belief in superstitions, their room has a design in the ceiling that looks like a coffin opening which bothered in our whole stay. There are veranda for each room. Don't expect their wifi but in the verandas, globe and smart have good internet connections. However, their santorini themed rooms which are a bit far from the front desk are not well maintained, especially the painting. Overall, it was a good stay, we enjoyed and they have accommodating staff.

If you need some unwinding and want some volcano view I suggest you get the santorini view rooms but if you want more of the place stay near the pool and the reception. Be mindful that the santorini view is a bit far from the reception and the from the pool.

Looks interesting from outside the property. We stayed on the unit before the Santorini due to Santorini was fully booked but i forgot what is the unit name. Room is fine. Toilet got Bathtub but not so clean. We request for pool towels until we have to follow up again. Kids playground looks lame. There was no personnel roving around for assistance. When we request for minutes late check out, immediately responded CANNOT. Only the Coffee House gives great service and the breakfast menu choices were awesome.

First time to stay in Estancia Hotel - it was an okay stay but not something that you would rave about. Just a good venue for company activities like Team Building because they have function rooms and areas where you can conduct the activities. The rooms given to us were far from the dining area and the pathway is not well-lit. Because it is surrounded with trees, there are a lot of insects, like ants, in the room. Was expecting to sleep tight because of the tiring activities we had but the aircon is so noisy and so I was up almost the entire night. The food was okay except for one dish which all of us was not able to eat because the meat was under-cooked, it's like rubber.

We had an affordable deal from Metrodeal for our anniversary. We came from Taguig and exited at Malitlit to drop by in Paseo de Sta Rosa then headed our way to Estancia. The location of the place was along the Tagaytay rd so it was so easy to spot and near Starbucks which was only few walks from the street parking of the hotel. It was just unfortunate for us since there was a storm when we booked our stay. The guard approached us amidst heavy rain, parked our car first in the street level parking then preceded at the lobby. It was so cool that the floor numbers are ascending but the direction of the lift was descending. At the lobby we presented our voucher along with a valid ID however a deposit of 2500 was needed which will be returned after we checked out. Just unlucky for us since we did not have any cash left since the ATM machines in Paseo de Sta Rosa are all offline and we only have 1500. I offered my debit card but they said their system wont be able to read it (something like that) and would prefer only credit cards. Good thing they agreed for a 1500 deposit since its the only cash we have. We checked in at 3:00, an hour late for their check in time but still they accomodated us well. We were provided with two breakfast stubs, slip for the refund of the money and another one which I barely remember. The receptionist informed us that the amenities are available for everyone anytime except the sauna and jacuzzi which needs to be reserved two hrs before we use it so we reserved it for the next day at 9 am. We were a deluxe room rm 10 with two beds, a cabled CRT tv, bathroom with heater, complementary toiletries, bar with snacks and towels. The room was spacious enough for the two of us and we stayed there for most of our stay since it was raining hard. When the rain somehow stopped we roamed around the place and it was really huge with all the house for conventions ans events and the Santorini houses. They have 2 pools and jacuzzi for indoor and outdoor, an entertainment room which we had for ourselves and sauna of course! We had a verdanda outside our room with the view of outdoor pool, hotel facade, parking area and space for picnics or hangouts. The next day we went to the lobby and asked for their wifi password. Each phone is given a small paper with the username and password to use for the free access. We also had a nice breakfast after. We choose the rice meals since we did not have any chance to eat dinner last night because it was raining hard and we were too lazy to go out and try meals in Mahogany. Their rice meals is okay with free coffee or chocolate drink. How I wish the coffee drink was hot since mine was not but the attendant was nice to attend to our needs. After that we went for their jacuzzi with heated water then sauna. We checked out at 12 noon but they were kind enough to let us stay for an hour in their lobby since I was playing EverWing and needed time to crash while waiing for our appointment at 4pm. Tips - Bring extra cash - Bring snacks - Ask for slippers if you need it - Reserve the jacuzzi and sauna immediately - Try all the facilities Good thing - Very accomodating and friendly staffs - Nice view - Free parking - Wifi access - Huge servings of food - No corkage fee Improve - Atleast free bottled water the moment you check in - Accept debit cards (please) - Pail for sauna - Repair jacuzzi's wooden floor - Flexible time for check in Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel. :)

We purchased a Metro Deal voucher worth 2,399 for an overnight stay on this hotel. This would be our first time to spend overnight in Tagaytay since usually we only visit the place for day trips. At first, my impression for the property was not that good reading the previous reviews, comments and disappointments of other guests. But, why won't we give it a try! Our booking was confirmed already but I wanted to make sure that everything was all set so I sent an e-mail to them for verification. I was surprised that they are very quick in answering my questions and queries. Most especially with Naidie form Reservations, she was the one who helped us with everything. We visited the place during weekdays so it's not very crowded. What we liked most was: 1. Staffs are very hospitable, polite and helpful. Every time we passed by at the hotel lobby and restaurant, they would greet us with a huge smile. :) 2. Hotel's interior, facilities, room and overall layout were very relaxing. I love the Taal Volcano view the most. :) 3. Hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and Sauna. 4. Food was nice. We ordered Party Spaghetti (which was very yummy and huge serving which was for a reasonable price) and Club Sandwich for dinner. Estancia Big Breakfast during the morning (Longgsilog and Tapsilog) which was very good! Most especially their Tapa, it's the yummiest of all! 5. It's location was very accessible to public transportation, restaurants, attractions and it is located on the main road. Thank you for the short but sweet stay. Thank you for preparing something for me and my boyfriend's 3rd anniversary! Will definitely come back and will recommend you to our family and friends. Cheers, Jane

Nice view from our room. And when it's early morning, the fog gets in the room when you open the door leading to the balcony. The pools had to be well maintained. And they can also do better on the food.

This place offers a good view of Taal volcano and Taal lake. However, if you cannot afford to be detached from the rest of the world for a day or more, this is not the place for you as wifi is only available in the lobby. For me however and my significant other, this place offers the peace and relaxation we are looking for in a hotel. Estancia has plenty of rooms to offer with each Santorini room offering a roof deck providing a perfect vantage point for one to view Taal volcano. Also, for people who hates hiking, again, this is not the place for you as rooms and offices are located far apart but they have a golf cart service to ferry guests to their rooms. Food is good but lacks variety. The place needs renovation and re-painting of water damage. The place offers a game room, indoor/outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Staff are very courteous and we did not have any problems from check in to check out time. Hotel is not crowded and there is ample parking space.
