The whole hotel is pretty old. We got the deluxe room with a Jacuzzi and balcony with a king sized bed. Seems pretty dingy the whole feel of the place. The carpets need replacing or at least a very thorough cleaning. The bed may have bed bugs as I've had itching. The separate shower is too small and May be an issue to larger persons as the door tends to be too narrow. The Jacuzzi is dirty and is rusty. The TV is at least an LCD with cable but can be spotty. The A.C. is fine. The elevator was not working for the 2 days we were there except on checkout which was a shame because the view of the lake in that elevator is fantastic. Our door didn't accept the keycard and we had to wait for help each time and they weren't fast enough. Basically no security for your hotel door. They have a small pool outdoors which can get cold because it's not heated. And a huge grassy open area. No playground for kids. The wait staff is good service is good. The other redeeming quality is the view of the lake. Food is not too good as well. We won't be coming back here unless there is major renovation.
The view from our room's balcony is awesome. Room is big, hot water have good water pressure. But the total hotel experience fell below what I initially expected. The elevator is out of order. Food is average. It took us three times to request for towels before they were delivered. Carpets are old and dilapidated. No bidet. Walls are no soundproofed. You can literally hear voices from the hallways and from other rooms. Finishes needs retouching. Paints are stained. Service needs improvement. This hotel has plenty of potential because of the brand and location. But if the management will not do something about these issues, they will get a l lot of complaints.
Days Hotel Tagaytay is our favorite hotel that’s why we came back again. First was when we had to destressed from work with my boyfriend. And today, when my bestfriend came from USA to visit some good places to relax, I recommended this hotel. Very affordable, clean and accessible to eveything.
We stayed overnight to celebrate my husband's birthday. I would say we had a nice stay - rooms are clean & big, beds are big enough, soft & comfortable, bathroom is clean with good water supply, toiletries & clean towels. Each room has a balcony where you get a good view of Taal Lake & Volcano. They also have a swimming pool in their garden. Staff are nice & helpful. The only downside is the complimentary breakfast, taste is so-so specially the longganisa.
All rooms has balcony overlooking the spectacular Taal Lake/volcano. Location is in the center of the city, but when you are inside the hotel you won't hear the noise of the busy city. Those are the pros. The cons - i find the food so bland. Not worth the price. Only one elevator for the whole hotel guests. We still need to request for towels. I still need to ask for the additional bed that I requested upon booking. No bidets. No "tabo" (Filipino hygiene). But if only for the view and the quiet atmosphere, it's worth returning
We arrive Tagaytay city late afternoon. We ride on a privately hired van and arrive the hotel safely. The staff are very accommodating. Of coarse the view of Taal Lake in the lobby was so grandiose. The weather is so cold. The room also have a nice view of Taal Lake. The food is also good. The swimming pool is also overlooking Tall lake. I definitely recommend this hotel is someone is going to visit Tagaytay city.
We booked via agoda, and everything went smoothly. upon arrival, the hotel is packed with customers but the staffs were able to accommodate everyone. all of the employees are kind, respectful and they greet you everytime. the rooms are great, all rooms have views of the lake. the location is also great, it is near the mall, other restaurants etc. Our one night stay was actually good, i would just like to suggest the installment of bidets in the bathroom. that's all. :)
