Sheraton Casablanca Hotel & Towers5.0 out of 5.0

The location of the hotel was good! But the hotel itself looks old and outdated. The room needs an upgrade soon. I wasn't expecting this from a Sheraton Hotel. Everything in the room looks old including the toilet area. The breakfast buffet was good, it had some pretty decent food choices. Last thing I want to raise was the very slow service!!! I was really surprise with the service of this hotel. I need to call the guest service several times to ask for some items before they'll bring it in our room and that happened more than twice or thrice I guess. I'm out of words to describe the very slow service of the hotel. At least I had some good sleep in our room.
Poor stay overall. This hotel's management's unprofessionalism striked me, considering Sheraton Casablanca Hotel & Towers has the potential to be a top-quality hotel. The rooms are large and have nice views of the city (we lived on the 9th floor), the building is quite grand, even if a little worn around the edges. I have literally zero complaints regarding the room or the location. But there were several issues which made our stay at Sheraton Casablanca Hotel & Towers unpleasant and disappointing. 1) I have made a booking at the rate, which included breakfast. At check-in I asked about the breakfast time, and the associate told me that we have no breakfast included. I told him that this isn't true, since I booked via SPG website, and the rate specifically mentioned free breakfast. He promised to get back to us, though he never did in any form - really poor service. When I asked another associate later that evening about breakfast, he confirmed we had one included after all. But guess what, next morning in the restaurant they told us that our room does not have breakfast, and we have to sort it out with the front desk! After us venturing once again to the front desk they made a call to the restaurant, and wow, we have been allowed to have a breakfast which we had a full pre-payment for. This - and I don't know whose fault was it, the hotel's or Sheraton's - and I can't say I care much - caused us a lot of unnecessary stress, and simply cannot happen at Sheraton. 2) My mother and I have been travelling to Casablanca for my mother's birthday, and the trip was very special for me. I mentioned that in the reservation file, as well as contacted the hotel directly well before the arrival. The hotel's manager Houda Kansari wrote to me and told that a cake would be served for the occasion, which sounded very nice. During check-in no one brough up the birthday, so I asked the check-in associate again, and he told me that the cake will indeed be served, and he would contact the room service. Well, no one served us anything that day or the next day - no cake, no card, not even a "happy birthday" wish, nothing. I understand that they are not obliged to serve anything, but if you mention that in your file, your manager promises things like that and your front desk confirms it, you should keep your word. Shockingly unprofessional, especially for a world chain. On the contrary, another non-chain property in another Moroccan city went out of its way to acknowledge my monther's special day. 3) Early in the morning of the day we were supposed to check out we came back to our room only to see all our towels already taken away, eben though the room was not cleaned - guess, that means "get out"? 4) The check-in associate lied about the amount of city tax, and did not give the change he was obliged to give. I intend to contact Sheraton head office with a formal complaint, since there were simply too many screw-ups for a short stay. I loved Casablanca, but next time I would likely stay at another property. Lying to your guests, making them fight for prepaid breakfast, cheating them in change is not acceptable.
Excellent location , close to Casa Port railway station, Medina and major attractions. The tram stop is behind the hotel with many restaurants and cafes. All are within walking distance . Our room was clean as per other Sheraton hotel we have stayed. The decor and bathroom could do with a makeover to bring it up to the same level as per other Sheraton hotels in the Far East.
The hotel is centrally located. We easily walked to the restaurant for lunch. The room is big with huge writing table. It also has all the conveniences like hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee corner with kettle. However I have taken away one star because for a twin sharing room for 2 persons, the hotel provided only one small bottle of drinking water, complimentary! The buffet breakfast is simply great. There is many varieties to choose from and the pastries are delicious.
Typical Sheraton albeit could do with some upgrading in the rooms which were a bit tired. Public areas bright and well appointed. Japanese, Moroccan restaurants as well as buffet. Breakfast a bit disappointing. Plenty of choice but lousy coffee machines which half the time didn’t work properly. We were attending a training course. Facilities were good and technical support helpful and responsive. Good refreshments at breaks. Room a good size with comfortable bed. Not enough lifts! Only 3 and one was out of action throughout stay leading to long waits at busy times. Not the best Sheraton I have stayed at!

Yes its a bit older Hotel but very well located right where the fun and life is. Value I got at the room, Executive Lounge and Breakfast was just excellent. One little improvement to be made, maybe the elevators are either really old and slow, or just do not come at when you need them. All other well and nice, specially the welcome service and quick check in and check out. Biggest value is the great location easy and safe to walk around and enjoy Arabic life! Thanks for the nice hospitality.
Omary the concierge will go the extra mile to get what you need even arranging specific your requests, very knowledgeable and courteous. I visited Casablanca for business and found myself booked at the Shetaton Casablanca Hotel. The staff is well educated and kind. The hotel itself has been around for awhile but clean and fresh. Casablanca is a friendly but big and busy city.
