Sheraton Casablanca Hotel & Towers5.0 out of 5.0

This hotel is a great value. It's not expensive, and the room was fine. It just felt kind of old and in need of major updating. It's a fairly central location and easily accessible to some markets nearby and a nice walk to the mosque.
The hotels that I stayed at Morocco were all needed to be renovated as so this one. The location was good, dinner and breakfast was fine. But the price of the drinks were exagerated. eg. 1,5 liters of water was 65 drh where you can find to 10 drh outside.
I traveled to Morocco for 5 weeks on business and for three weeks stayed at the Sheraton hotel. While I will agree the hotel drinks and food is a little expensive I didn’t chose this hotel to stay in every night. The local restaurants and bars are very cheap and the food is amazing. My room was spotless and cleaned regularly and the staff were always happy and attentive. On the first floor are the restaurants with a really good sushi restaurant and the Moroccan shisha restaurant being a firm favourite. Mustafa’s band play every night except Monday and were the highlight of the stay. 8 hours of authentic Moroccan music and dancing and great food which isn’t expensive. This is now my second stay and I will return again.
It is my first visit to Morocco and what an impression I have gotten from my first encounter. Photos and reality speak worlds~ apart. It is just as everyone has said. I chose this hotel over all others for its authentic look in the lobby. However, it is not authentic; rather just dated. Very, dated. What made the experience even worse was the demeaning encounter by the front desk agent on duty on Sept 29, 2017 around 10:00pm local time (His name will be withheld; if it is important enough, I believe efforts to reprimand will be made). After asking for an availability of rooms, I was immediately asked, "Do you want to know the price?" .... Next time I will make sure to stay in my 'class range'. Wow, do I miss the $200 room back in Paris...
If the service was not as good i would give the review a 2 instead of a 3. I am coming here since years ( spg hotel! ) but it is really getting old fashioned - they have to refurbish urgently. Thanks to great service a so so fitness room and a great breakfast it became a 3!
On the face of it a city centre hotel that should have been a pleasure to stay at. How wrong could you be ! We were on the 15th floor (club class floor) and as soon as you came out of the lift a funny smell attached you immediately. The rooms didn't smell fresh either. Because we were not married the hotel made us book an additional room at full price. Allegedly because of their religious beliefs; could also just have been a ripoff tactic by them. This added significantly to our bill. When I queried it security and manager types surrounded us at reception. The bathrooms were a good size but poorly maintained with a cracked basin and very average shower. The staff were aggressive and often called the room for no purpose just to see if we were in the room. We were accosted twice near the lift and questioned what rooms we were both staying in. Each morning the maid would knock once and immediately enter the room before you could reply. As this was pre 9am it was intrusive and after the first morning we started putting the deadlock on the door whenever we were in the room. The food was the highlight of the hotel with breakfast and the two restaurants being excellent. The underground parking is also very good. I would always avoid this hotel and its hideous staff and poorly maintained rooms.
The hotel is very well located and very clean. The room needs to be updated but it is clean and there is enough space. The personnel are very friendly although they don't seemed to be use to "tourist@ other than business travelers. We were there for the Aid week end so a lot of restaurants were closed. We asked the personnel to suggest us a restaurant that was open and they told us that the only one that was open was a five star restaurant (very expensive). When we walked to get there we found that there were a lot of "family restaurant" around that were open. Overall we had a good experience
we stay almost one week it was really good place to stay ,good and helpful staff, location was perfect only small swimming pool and there is no service on the swimming pool area also the GYM so small.
Amazing and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. I'm generally never disappointed with Sheraton and it's massive, comfy beds. The breakfast staff was extremely polite and accommodated our requests promptly. The barman went extra mile and brought us some light snacks like salmon mini burgers and fried cheese bites which was complimentary (we came from a long duty and didn't have a chance for a seat down meal as the restaurant stopped serving the food)... it was very kind of him! :) Good facilities and quiet night (stayed there over the weekend). Thank You!
Me and my family stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms need renovating. Hotel have a little pool next to the restaurant and summarized breakfast. Good point is electric kettle in rooms. Hotel location is nice and near old city (Madina) old market. Totally, it's acceptable in compare with money you spend.
