This large, renovated home is designed in the classic Carmel style, including two Carmel stone fireplaces, four bedrooms, two dining areas and a separate deck and private patio. Perfect for a large family or multi-family vacation.
Besides being a short walk to the beach, the 2,200-square-foot house is also only a few minutes away from Carmel’s Ocean Avenue restaurants, shops and art galleries to entertain you for days, a short drive to famed Pebble Beach®, 17 Mile Drive®, Monterey Bay and the Aquarium and Cannery Row. And other attractions within a short drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting in Carmel Valley Village.
Living Spaces Guests enter at the covered front entryway through a Dutch door. The cozy living room has comfortable leather and upholstered furniture placed around the gas Carmel stone fireplace and 65-inch HDTV. Knotty pine wood flooring adorns the upstairs common areas including living room, dining area and kitchen. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Kitchen and Dining The kitchen offers brand new (2021) stainless steel appliances, a double oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, as well as a large sink with pullout faucet and limestone countertops and wine fridge. Large windows let in plenty of natural light. A table with four chairs and a built in desk complete the kitchen. An elegant dining area with seating for 8 is set between the kitchen and living space or choose to dine al fresco at the dining set on the back deck which also includes a propane BBQ grill.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms All four bedrooms have plush carpet and TVs equipped with Comcast XFinity cable and Roku.
Two bedrooms are located downstairs: Bedroom #1 is a large primary suite with a California King bed, a separate sitting area with Carmel stone gas fireplace, and a private patio and fenced in yard. Native California landscaping offer grace notes and full privacy, making this the perfect retreat. The large en suite bathroom is enormous and includes a large tub, dual sinks, a large walk-in shower, limestone tile, a makeup vanity area, a desk for work space when needed, and a 120 sf. ft. walk-in closet. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed a desk for remote work, a TV, and private entrance through a french door to the side yard.
Two guest bedrooms are located upstairs near the living spaces: Bedroom #3 has a California King bed and a built-in sink and vanity with sliding door access to the back deck. Bedroom #4 has a California King bed and a welcoming window seat. The unique bathroom on this upper level is a convenient, split full bath (shower over tub on one side, the sink and toilet on the other in a separate space.)
A dedicated laundry room is located downstairs.
The enclosed carport features an electric car charger (Nema 14-50 plug with 230 V/30 A service) and can accommodate one car. There is space to park and charge an additional vehicle in the driveway with ample neighborhood parking.
Well-behaved dogs under 25 lbs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum. A fully fenced back yard provides privacy and peace of mind.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.
