Great place with regular facilities. Staff at reception were great and the wifi was quite good. I would definitely recommend this place if you are planning on visiting Carcassone. It is close to the citadele and within walking distance of Carcassone downtown.

We came one night for the 14th of july and loved that the hotel is so close to the castle. We stayed in a very spacious flat, but the beds are a simple plank plus thin mattress really uncomfortable, that's a shame .

Excellent value exceptional staff great breakfast very clean extremely spacious and very good value would return to these apartments anytime its also a short walk to La Cite and the Ramparts. Can't recommend enough.

Excellent value and great location. Highly recommend for those wanting cheap basic accommodation in Carcassonne. Very helpful staff. Suitable for all ages and all groups of travellers - lone travellers, families, couples and for those travelling for both business or pleasure.

Enormous room, very comfy, friendly and helpful reception. Brilliant location as well, not busy area but 2 minutes walk up to the castle and restaurants etc. Really enjoyed my time there. Even had some book swap books to read!

We spent two nights in Adonis Carcassonne in April. We got a good price for the room since it was low season, but the breakfast was incredibly overpriced considering what we were served. And they made us pay almost full price for our children even though they are only two and three years old and eat very little. If you have the chance, have your breakfast somewhere outside the hotel - even in the old city, you will find more value for your money. The location however is perfect for exploring Carcassonne. The hotel is situated as close as you can get to the old city without staying inside the walls (which is more expensive). Be aware though, if you are travelling with small children, that it is quite tricky to access the closest entrance to the old city if you are bringing a pram. The wifi is pretty much useless. It does not work in the rooms, so you have to get outside in the garden or go to the hotel reception to get internet access. For an extra fee, you can park your car in a garage under the hotel, which is convenient since I believe it could be quite challenging finding parking close to the old city during high season.

Lovely spacious room that can accommodate up to four people comfortably. Only 2 minutes walk from Carcassonne's wonderful walls and castle. Free parking on the street but hotel has a car park. lovely terrace.

Great place to stay, close to everything I wanted to see. Massive rooms at a good price. Kitchenette is included but does not have a kettle or a toaster, nor a hairdryer. Air conditioner is extremely efficient.

This is a great place to stay (both the hotel itself, and Carcassonne overall). The apartment are in a few separate buildings closely spaced around a common courtyard. They have a sort of bunker/industrial feeling to the buildings -- the doors are steel and very solid, everything is concrete -- which actually fits well with the castle/medieval theme of the town. The individual apartments are huge -- large even for normal apartments -- and furnished, although rather sparsely. They would be great for a family or group. The furnishings are comfortable but definitely not luxurious, but in Carcassonne you're probably spending most of your time up at the castle or out at wineries. The bathroom was a little more "traditional French style" than I'd like -- the hand-sprayer doesn't have a clip to hold it onto the wall -- but there's plenty of space, water pressure and hot water, and it's only a minor inconvenience. There is a kitchenette as well, although I only used the refrigerator. It's about a 10 minute walk up a hill to the castle. There's nothing in the immediate block or two around the hotel, however. Great wifi -- 20x4Mbps, with solid signal strength. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel, and paid parking in an underground secured lot. Staff were friendly (it's more serviced apartments vs. full-service hotel) -- also spoke great English. For the price, I'd strongly recommend this as a place to stay.

I was impressed by quality and location. The hotel was better than expected. The location s just outside the old city walls. There is a convenient footpath up to the city nearby. It's about 20-25 minutes walk from the railway station, but you walk through the pedestrianised cty centre 'Bastide', so lots to see. Would recommend to my friends and family.
