Hotel was about 1/2 block from the ocean in Sea Point, which is a nice Cape Town location. Staff was friendly and eager to help at all times. Room was decent size and comfortable. The price we paid through orbitz was decent. We were very happy with our stay.
It was my 1st trip to Capetown and i was very happy with the hotel location and set up. The staff members were great and always ready to assist and above all my hotel room view was fantastic. I had a great time and i would recommend this hotel to anybody.
I have stayed at the Vineyard several times, both on my own and with my family. On every occasion it has been a great experience. The food is excellent - particularly the breakfast buffet, and the outside terrace with magnificent mountain view is not to be beaten.
The hotel and food were wonderful. However, upon checking I was told my payment wasn't received even though I was sure I had already paid for it months prior. I was asked to make payment again and if I had proof I previously paid I would be refunded. I promptly found my receipt and provided it to ...
Found the room EXACTLY as requested: Good wifi, quiet high floor and , if that wasn't enough, a great view of Table Mountain! staff was more than helpful in every department: housecleaning came multiple times per day. Conciege organized a last minute City Tour and recommended a good restaurant and ...
The hotel is conveniently located on Long Street. Making it very easy to go to the bars and restaurants. Kelp in mind that you will need ear plugs to sleep. The hotels bar and cafe were closed because the vendor did not work out, but vouchers were provided for a local diner which was lovely. The parking was secured and everyone we dealt with were polite.
This hotel is very well located and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room is a little small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also very good.
Great room, location and service! PHENOMENAL staff!!!
I was in Cape Town on my first visit. This was primarily a business trip but I had a weekend day to enjoy Cape Town. The Protea Hotel Victoria Junction is conveniently located for business travelers and tourists alike.

Restaurants, nightclubs, and museums fill the area, many of which are within walking distance from the best hotels. Many hotels in the City Center have views of the nearby harbor. The Adderley Hotel on Adderley Street offers rooms at $86 per night. The hotel consists of three historic buildings that date back to the early 1910s, and each building features recent renovations that add a modern touch to the interior. Green Point is one of the outer suburbs of Cape Town, and travelers enjoy staying here because the neighborhood sits right on the water. If your idea of a dream vacation involves a peaceful and tranquil setting, visit the Southern Suburbs area of Cape Town. This area features Constantia, Bishops Court, and Newlands. The mountains nearby are perfect for hiking, and the wooded areas offer a nice change of pace from traditional beach and ocean views. Bishops Court and Newlands are closer to downtown Cape Town, but travelers get the chance to take a break from the hustle of the big city. The Tulip Hotel offers budget-friendly rooms starting at $95 per night. The hotel has multiple floors, and the higher floors have views of Table Mountain National Park. A large restaurant in the hotel serves free meals twice daily, and guests can also order room service throughout the day.
