Taj Cape Town is a beautiful hotel! The staff were very friendly, and when I checked in early, they did their best to quickly get my room ready.

It was a very nice looking hotel. The lobby was very nice, and the buffet breakfast was good. The location is not great, not safe to walk outside at night. They have a complimentary car service to the Waterfront, but it is limited. I felt safe, but I think that I would prefer a different hotel next time. One perk, was that they have free walking tours close by, that were excellent.

Great room, location and service! PHENOMENAL staff!!!

Great room, wonderful service. Breakfast was everything you needed to start the day!

Great stay. Great room. Great food. Our rate included wi-fi and breakfast for 2 daily. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff learned our coffee/tea preferences after the first day. Was really nice. Uber from hotel to the waterfront was less than $4 USD. Didn't walk around at night, but seemed to be in a good shopping area.

I had a great time in Cape Town & really enjoyed my stay at the Taj! I arrived in Cape Town after spending 3 days in Johannesburg, where I stayed in a suite in another excellent hotel. I was initially concerned that I would be in for a downgrade in stay, but the room at the Taj was very spacious, and provided a balcony which my previous room did not. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job as did the doormen! The location of the hotel is great as it is within walking distance of many attractions. The staff at the Mint restaurant could have been more attentive, but some of it could have been cultural differences, which i've experienced in other countries as well. I realize us Americans can be impatient.. Thomas appeared to be in a supervisory position at the Mint, & he did a really good job. Overall it was a great stay and if I return to Cape Town, i'll definitely be staying at the Taj!

Nestled in the heart of Cape Town walking distance to the Company Gardens and malls and suave restaurants ,The Taj is the bee's knees. An old bank renovated to accentuate it's former glory it really does not fail to please.Excellent restaurants ,The Mint and the Bombay Brasserie run by expert chefs and of course the cosy Twanky's Bar where one can sink into it's comfy seats and into oblivion with their great cocktails. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished, with very little detail taken into account Most of all it was the absolutely amazing staff who made the stay so pleasant?Bravo Taj you did it again!

I've stayed at the Taj in Delhi, India and their impeccable service convinced me to try out their hotel in Taj Cape Town. I definitely was not disappointed. The service was great, breakfast was great, and room was great! It's definitely a big hotel with a lot of business travelers but the staff is very warm. The location is great to walk around the happening bars and restaurants on Long and Kloof Street.

Hotel amazing but staff need improvement. A few errors led to my tours not running as smoothly as I had hoped. They don't give you the full information. Also, I was put into an adjoining room and they refused to move me because they already had my money and told me they couldn't offer me a better room at that price.

Coming from a boutique smaller hotel, the Taj felt slightly less personal. That being said, the staff was always available, rooms large and great price for the location and amenities, so really had no complaints and would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a Saturday night in Cape Town and enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer

Historical building turn to became luxury hotel. Extremely kind and attentive staffs, nice and huge room with aromatic amenities, breakfast was superb,.
