On a whim my partner and I decided to go to Cape Town for a long weekend. All arrangements were made by a Mozambican agency (based on our budget of course). We opted for the Park Inn coz the description (mostly location was, including entertainment). I think that maybe they exaggerated a bit on its convenient location. Still, CT is a city for we didn't complain much. Service throughout was very good...everyone was friendly and joked around with us without overstepping the line. The bedroom we checked into wasn't the best, issue in the bathroom (was sorted once we pointed it out). The photos posted by the hotel here might be a bit too clean/professional looking 😉 The rooftop bar, well...maybe it was the season (Winter), but nothing exciting there...a few patrons scattered around, dj playing for a while (don't think it was more than 2 hrs). Food was basic....service was good though. If you are looking for a place to just go sleep...I guess it's not bad. As a hotel for the business's good, near a lot of office buildings. Taxis/cabs nearby also. Guess next time it might be worthwhile to choose a more touristy accommodation😊. We had fun though, CT is fabulous...even in winter.

Nicely positioned. 20 min walk from the waterfront. Drop off service available. Very friendly staff. Roof top bar. We were at the 5th or 6th floor. Our room offered delicious view of the table mountain.

My room was lovely, stunning views of the city at night and table mountain. loved it :) as I was alone I didnt mind having a single bed, (there were twin beds in the room). unfortunatley the TV didnt work as I would have liked the company of some music in the room. the sitting area on the window sill looking out was wonderful. I kept the curtains open at night as I love the lights and there were many. I dont particlary like having bottle soap, a nice touch would have been to have small bars of soap and little bottles for shampoo etc. overall was very nice, small coffeee counter supply was great. no drinking water supplied as I am not used to drinking from the tap. the free shuttle to the waterfront was very convenient even though I had a 20 minute wait for the driver to arrive as he waited for more clients. breakfast was great and varied. Staff very friendly :) Ill return for sure.....

I had stayed at the park inn for to nights over all the place was great. It is in the heart of town and 10 min from the waterfront and about 2 to 3 minutes from the bussiness district. Vibe The vibe in the hotel is very chilled an very relaxed it is easy going and the roof top offers amazing views of table mountain Service The service was great . Always a smile and always willing to help from the front desk to the breakfast staff right down to housekeeping ! Food and drink The food and drink for me was a let down Breakfast was okay they have your basics. The restaurant in the hotel food was not the very nice and took ages to come out. Having said that the staff on the top restaurant where also not very friendly about it. Overall I would say that this hotel is great for business or just a weekend to Cape Town . I would recommend it and futher I would return

Rooms are big, with nice views and very comfortable as well as clean. It has an amazing restaurant upstairs with very nice views, music and a small pool. All the people at both the reception and the bar are very nice and helpful. I would really recommend this hotel.

We booked for a nine day stay to during April and May, when we first arrived we didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel was always very clean and the the room was lovely, the staff made the stay they were always so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us, we eat at the hotel a couple of times and the food was very nice and reasonably priced. If anyone is looking for an affordable hotel in a good location then look no further, we will definitely be back 😄

I stayed for 6 nights at the end of April. This was a very good hotel. It is in more of the financial district, so you have to walk a few blocks for restaurants, but it isn't bad. Good area of town, safe and very helpful and nice front desk and staff. There is a hotel shuttle which can take you to the V&A Waterfront and pick you up if you call them. Nice option to save a few ZAR on an Uber or taxi. A taxi was a flat rate of 60 ZAR back to the hotel - about $5. There is a roof top bar that has a bit of music going on for the weekend. There is a pool, but it is small - more of a dipping pool - more the size of a large hot tub.Internet is pretty good too - free and fairly strong signal. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I'd recommend it.

We spent 5 nights in the Park Inn Foreshore. It is very well situated if you want to visit all the main attractions in the city center (Waterfront, City Bowl etc.). The room was very spacious and nicely furnished. But the main thing: the staff is so friendly helpful and nice!

I booked one of the superior rooms for my four-night stay in Cape Town and couldn't have been happier with the room and the service. The room itself was spacious, well-maintained, fitted with everything you need (complimentary bottled water, TV, safe...) and had a great view of Table Mountain. The bathroom is modern, almost open-plan: no door between the room and the basin, frosted glass doors separating the toilet and the shower; probably fine for most couples and solo travellers but something to keep in mind for others wanting to share rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and always happy to be of assistance. Breakfast is served daily by reception and is, I'd say, a couple of notches up from your standard hotel breakfast. There's free wifi throughout the hotel, an essential these days. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to anywhere within the Cape Town central business district; just turn up at reception and ask for it. There is only one van though (I think) so it may not always be available when you need it and you may be asked to wait for a bit, just something to keep in mind in case you need to get somewhere at a particular time. The service also ends at about 23:00 for the night and restarts the next morning, so be prepared to look for a cab on the way back if staying out until late. If returning before this time, just call the hotel and they'll send the shuttle to pick you up. Shuttle service to the airport is not included but available at an additional cost. The hotel's location is not the best, but it's not bad either. It's in the city centre, very close to the train station, at about a five-minute drive from the V&A Waterfront. The area seemed safe during the day, but walking out at night is not recommended. When I checked, any hotel in a better location was much more expensive. The plunge pool was closed at the beginning of autumn (mid-April). Overall, a great hotel that made my stay in the beautiful Mother City an absolute pleasure.

This place is typical of any city centre hotel. OK if you are on business or a tourist just passing through, but don't go there for a quiet, restful stay. Especially over a weekend when there is a DJ in action in the restaurant on the top floor. We stayed in a room on the 10th floor, immediately below the DJ's station and suffered from the thump, thump, thump of the base. Not only that, but because the restaurant was also above our room, we heard every scrape of chair and clatter of cutlery. We doubt that the noise from the restaurant would have been any more acceptable on any other floor because the hotel has an open central area through the 11 floors, from the ground to the roof. Be warned!
