Great location. The room was clean and the staff responsive.
Location is nice, right on board walk and central. Over priced and bathroom was dark and we had to use our phone to have a light. There are lot of hotels on the board walk - no need to over pay for mediocre services.
Pretty shabby for the price we paid. Also asked for disability accessible bathroom, but it had no grab bar in tub and toilet was very low.
Location is great, 2 pools is awesome. Grills are a Wildwood staple and always great to have access to. Room is dated. Shower fixture/hand held was loose making showering a pain... Water pressure is abysmal!!!
It has a full size refrigerator, is close to the beach and the Convention Center.
Close to beach, decent for short stay, floor was dirty around bed and night stands. Woman at the front desk was just about worthless.
When we booked our room, the hotel ad offered WiFi and breakfast. The check in desk is very dated and dingy, the paint has been changed from the pictures on the website. The main room in the hotel has furniture that is at least 10 years old and filthy. You wouldn’t want to sit on it if it was the last place to sit. The room furniture is 1970's styled, painted was chipped and wobbly on the kitchen table. The couch had a bed but you couldn’t use the couch because it was so worn out, you sank into it. 2 seats on the couch and no other room for anyone to sit. The air conditioner was located in the bedroom and was not able to keep the room cool. The only place that was cool was the bedroom. The hotel ad offered breakfast, there was no breakfast. 3 out of the 4 glasses that were in the cabinet for guests to use were broken and could not be used. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan so you couldn’t cool it off while you showered and there was a lack of water pressure. The hotel rooms did not have screens on them and were hazards and could not be left open due to summertime bugs. The ceiling in the room was cracked from the wall. The pool furniture was old and used. They were canvas and worn out and ripped. The sitting chairs were broken at the arms where they met the legs. Also the photos on the website, show a restaurant which does not exist on property. Lastly, we booked 6 months before our travel date, paid $260 more than $120 from what they told us in person.
This property is right on the beach and is easy to get to anywhere in Wildwood. It is a little run down, but so are all the properties in the area. This is not a world class hotel, but it is a fine spot for a family looking to be close to the beach and have a place to compose themselves while doing all of the beach things offered in WIldwood.
Great location for convention center but typical beach motel. Not new, best up, clean enough but not great
Adjoining rooms were loud, air conditioning roof vent banged all night, window air conditioning unit let the outside air in (very poorly sealed, USA Today was the same Edition every single day, wring size sheets for the bed. Absolutely worst place that I have ever stayed.
This was a weekend getaway, so it met my needs. The room is older, ok for two pp and clean (kitchen, linen, bedroom). Beds were very comfortable. I asked for extra kitchen supplies and got them right away. Staff are very friendly. There is no exercise room. The location is across from the convention center and walk to the beach is easy. The only down side is I paid the same price per night that I pay to stay at the Venetian in Vegas. If I pay that much I would not expect to see broken tile in the entrance and a dirty carpet in the living area and a smell in the bathroom. This still met my needs for a beach weekend.
Hi All, Just commenting on my stay at the Days Inn in Wildwood...the location is GREAT, its literally across the street from the beach and the Convention Center on the boardwalk. Positives: nice, clean room you would expect at a Days Inn, bed was comfortable, bathroom also clean. Negatives: I asked for a king bed and got a room with two double beds and they didnt have any available at the time-no biggie, and the pool...well its kinda small and expected a much larger one so I didnt take a dip instead was at the beach most of the time..Overall a good stay and good time at good ole Wildwood!!!!
Great value!! Sun deck with grills, 2 pools, breakfast restaurant across the street, liquor store next door, across the sreeet from convention center, kitchen did the job. Slowly upgrading appliances and TVs. Overall good experience for what we paid.
the room was clean. The staff went out of way to make sure we had everything we needed.parking lot will lite and spotless. across grom convention hall which wa great.
Stayed for a wedding at the convention center located directly across the street. Staff was jovial and welcoming. We arrived an hour before check in and were attended to immediately and able to check in at that time without question.
Like all Wildwood motels, and the town itself . . . even with all the upgrading the town has done and the motels have done, somehow it's still locked in `50s, 60's and `70s. The beach was excellent as ever, the water warm (low 70s), jellyfish and seaweed clumps few, the beach sand as "fine" as anywhere in the world ! (and manicured carefully, daily). BUT, The motel needs a re-do . . . old fashioned TVs with poor quality pictures, little bathrooms, sinks and toilets seem reminisicent of 'Barbie" items, just not what we expect these days ! No free morning breakfast of any kind, as far as I could determine. I know that it's tough to make a profit on a "3 month season", but, I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a "Branded" motel with such "luxurys". I know the are doing their best with what they have, but perhaps an injection of capital is just what the doctor ordered for this place !
Very convenient for my New Years Eveplans. No complaints
Sonny was the first person who greeted us & he was super friendly & made jokes with the kids !! Made us feel welcome right away !! When we asked about places to eat- he asked some questions & then told us about his favorites & the reasons why. Even told us a few to stay away from !! That was a big help !! All of the staff were friendly & made eye contact & smiles when we entered !! The room & shower could have been a touch cleaner- but nothing horrible & easy to fix. We had a nice view of the boardwalk & ocean and although we didn' tget to use the pool (would have preferred longer pool hours) it was nice to have one right there. Anyone who is looking for a reasonable place to stay & friendly helpful staff would enjoy their stay here !!
Quick and early check in. There for basketball tournament. April 2-3.
