What an amazing gem of a place!!!! The Angel of the Sea was the perfect bed and breakfast experience right on the beach. All of the staff were so kind. The breakfast everyday was phenomenal! The tea hour and wine and cheese hour made our stay feel so special. I cannot wait to return. Book here for a truly relaxation experience!!

This was our first visit to this lovely place…I cannot call it a hotel…it was more like home. The room, the parlour/dining area, the location, the service, the staff, and the food was everything we could hope for and more. The afternoon tea/sweets and the evening wine/cheese were just icing on the cake. And be prepared for one of the best breakfast services you can imagine. We are definitely returning next year and want to bring more of our family along. We just wish we had discovered this gem earlier, since it has become one of our favorites.

Sisters Get Away!

My sister and I went on a Sisters Getaway, and it was absolutely wonderful! The Angel of the Sea felt like something straight out of a Hallmark movie—so charming and quaint. And the front desk clerk and breakfast server? Don’t even get me started—they were incredibly personable, welcoming, and full of great information. Such a fantastic experience!

My husband and I stayed in Cape May at the angel of the sea for two nights. Our room was a king room with an ocean view. Our bed was extremely comfortable. Linens were clean. Bathroom was clean, but hallway railings were sticky, and stairway carpets were worn. The place seemed tired. It was a lovely. The service could not have been better and each staff member was extremely helpful and friendly. It is a beautiful Victorian mansion decorated in Victorian Style. However, there is no lounging area for guests. It’s all eating areas. They do provide beaching supplies and bicycles which is an added bonus.
