The homely modern L shape villa was built in 2014 our holiday home. It is located in a nice peaceful area in Bain Boeuf Cap Malheureux and very near Pereybere, Grand Baie. The villa is modern, spacious, bright, open plan living area, dining room, kitchen and patio. It has a private swimming pool, solely for the guests and is a 10 mins walk to the beach.

The bus stops, local shops, green grocery, and recommended restaurants (seafood / local food) are easy 10 minutes walk from the house and more restaurants short 5 to 10 minutes drive.

Enjoy cocktails, alfresco dining or BBQ with view of the private swimming pool and of the garden with coconut trees.

For your comfort, the villa offers flat-screen TV, fully equipped kitchen including a Nespresso machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge Freezer, rice cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, safe for valuable, security alarm for peace of mind, sun loungers and phone for local calls. There is also a BBQ set.

There are 4 air-conditioning bedrooms; 1 king size and 3 big double bedrooms all have access to an en-suite bathroom. One of the double beds can be converted into 2 single beds for family with children. There is an additional separate WC with a wash basin. A travel baby cot and a baby high chair are also available.

There are plenty of car parking spaces within the private secured ground and garden of the house.

We provide a weekly free maid house cleaning and free internet.

Refundable cash damage deposit is required on arrival ÂŁ200 or 250 euro & is returned on departure. A receipt will be provided.

Check-in from 14:00 and check-out by:10h30. These times are to allow cleaning on the same day between departing and arriving guests. Late check out may be possible subject to availability nearer to the date of departure.

Car hire and Airport transfer can be arranged on request.

Perfect villa for a family

The villa was our home base for our 4 week stay (5 adults). It is about a 10 to 20 minute drive to several beautiful beaches and many other amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants, excursions, shopping centres. There is also easy access to the highways to get to other parts of the island. The pool was cleaned on a regular basis and there was weekly house cleaning. The property was exactly as advertised and the property manager Linlay was very easy to reach when we had questions or needed any assistance as was Shirley our host. Given the time of the year (Dec/Jan), the house did get hot at night so we were thankful for the AC in each of the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and felt we had everything we needed and our host Shirley was very accommodating.

IDEAL FAMILY VILLA

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious, well designed and well equiped villa. At first the location seemed a little off the beaten track but we were soon finding our way to local amenities at Grand Bay, just a 5 min drive. In hindsight we were pleased for the peace and quiet and lack of traffic and tourist noise. Can't think of anything that was lacking. Great pool and well kept tropical garden with many brightly coloured birds visiting daily. The whole family really enjoyed this stay and the accomodation was spacious and afforded each privacy when required. The villa manager Linlay was so welcoming and helpful with plenty of good tour advice and helpful with arranging the shuttle and car rental ( both excellently done). I'd certainly recommend and may well stay again if we return to Mauritius ( which I'm sure we will)!

A wonderful base to explore and relax

A wonderful villa in a slightly hidden location with excellent links to some wonderful beaches and adventures. Linlay is a wonderful host who looked after all our needs - a home from home. The villa provided all our needs from excellent wi-fi, all kitchen needs, barbecue, washing machine, dish washer etc... the pool was well looked after and was a welome relief from the mid-day sun. The Super ‘U’ supermarket provided all of our cooking needs and I suggest the local wines for price and to be the honest the taste was just as good as the expensive imported stuff. The local beers are very good but I would suggest a visit to the Flying Dodo brewery, not only have great food but to take back some excellent beers. A couple of local shops near the villa provided some bakery goods, chicken and beer. We loved our 2 week stay and we will miss the sound of the exotic birds every morning. A wonderful villa in a most amazing country. We were very sad to say goodbye.

Villa vraiment luxueuse et spacieuse, trÚs bien équipée, grand jardin, proximité de la plage, supérette, boulangerie, petit restaurant, Linlay est vraiment au petit soin, et peut vous préparer de bon petit plat. Villa qui reflÚte bien les photos qu'on voit sur internet. Endroit vraiment trÚs calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Merci encore à Linlay et Shirley pour leur contact rapide. Sehr schönes Haus, klasse Ausstattung und auf Wunsch tolle Betreuung

Wir sind 7 Personen und haben die Villa im MĂ€rz 2018 fĂŒr 2 Wochen gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und in einer ruhigen Gegend gelegen. Die Ausstattung lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsch offen, es ist alles Vorhanden was man braucht.Im Vorfeld sehr guten E-Mail Kontakt mit vielen Informationen. Flughafentransfer und Mietwagen wurden von Shirley und Linlay organisiert. Wir sind sehr frĂŒh am morgen (5:00 Uhr) in der Villa angekommen wo Linlay auf uns mit einem FrĂŒhstĂŒck gewartet hat. Ebenfalls haben wir ein Handy bekommen um Linlay z.b. bei Problemen zu erreichen. Das gab uns ein unbezahlbares GefĂŒhl der Sicherheit in einer doch zumindest am Anfang unbekannten Welt. Linlays KochkĂŒnste sollte man sich auf jeden Fall nicht entgehen lassen. Ein Auto ist jedoch unbedingt zu empfehlen. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub in einem tollen Haus bei tollen Leuten. Vielen Dank nochmal von uns Sieben aus dem Rheinland :)

That was the best choice!

We (2 persons, aged 66 and 69) spent nearly three weeks in Villa Rosa and we felt at home all the time. The photos are showing the interior of the house very well. Everything is in a good and clean condition. Especially the kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. Besides there are well-stocked supermarkets in Grand Baie, so we didn't go to any restaurant, but prefered spending the evening on the veranda. Generally the surrounding was very quiet in the evening. We have been afraid that there would be a lot of noise coming from "Residence du Nord" which is situated right opposite, but there wasn't any. We have to thank Shirley and Linlay for the good communication and organization in the run-up to our holidays: A taxi-driver was waiting at the airport though we arrived at 7 a.m. We got a car brought to Villa Rosa and paid almost the half of the amount which one has to pay at Avis etc. During our stay Linlay took care of all our questions and problems. Even when I had to go to a dentist she gave me the adress of a very good private clinic with a european standard. Thank you! If we come back? If Villa Rosa would be situated in the southern part of Mauritius, probably! In the North we found a good touristical infrastructure, nice beaches and just Villa Rosa. But the landscape is a little bit boring, flat, above all planted with sugar-cane, which was cut and burnt in November, so that the land was yellow and brown. In the South, where we went afterwards for 8 days, the landscape was more tropical and looked more interesting because of the mountains. But our house wasn't by far so well maintained as Villa Rosa!

Beautiful, spacious villa

Shirley and her sister were very pleasant and efficient in handling all villa requests, especially last minute guests! The Villa is located in a good location and quiet road. It's very clean and well presented, with plenty of space to chill and relax. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here in the future.

Chill out and relax oasis

We holidayed in late March early April which is a lovely time of year to go to Mauritius. - Very warm & sunny but not oppressively so. Right from our first communications with Shirley she gave us a warm feeling that we’d chosen the correct villa. her replies were swift and comprehensive, and at times she answered the questions we should have asked but didn't. Located inland in a quiet residential area - we were probably the noisiest people there - The villa was great. All areas are very clean, well kept, as well as having everything you could wish for or need on a - chill out - villa holiday It is spacious and well thought out. We didn’t use the TV area, but it all looked comfortable and purposeful. If you open doors and windows, there is a lovely, cooling easterly breeze that blows through the open areas. The Pool was good size - I learnt to float on the water for the first time, wahoo - full UK swimming lessons next. Linlay - the on site manager - was extremely helpful and had a light unobtrusive touch. She only lives next door so was easily available for all our needs, and was also a good source for information Arrangements for the taxi from & to the airport were very well organised the drivers on both legs were very polite and full of information about the island. Bain Boeuf beach was only a leisurely 15min walk away, very nice for a pre sunrise stroll, taxi's were available from that area, we travelled into Grand Baie for food shopping and lunch. La Croisette shopping mall surprised us as it wasn’t there on our last trip, it is quite large and very modern - worth a visit. Had pleasant lunches and fantastic local ice cream at Suncoco and excellent service and meals at Divino who had a waitress with a very customer friendly style. Would definitely return to this villa on our next Mascarene visit

Lovely villa!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Rosa. The villa is very clean and spacious and it served as a great base to either relax or explore. The garden is lovely and peaceful and offers privacy. Linlay was very helpful and often around so we could ask her questions – please do ask her to cook for you, her meals are delicious. We had a hire car which we would recommend as it allowed us lots of flexibility in what we were able to do whilst there and avoided walking to restaurants on dark roads at night. The supermarket in grand baie is a short drive and very convenient. Local restaurants we enjoyed were wang thai, grill and chill and le capre. The service at happy rajah was not very good. In general terms, we were able to see attractions all over the island. Our favourites were the boat trip to Ile aux cerfs and the horse racing at port Louis. There are packages available for tourists to go the races however we drove ourselves and spent all day in the general public area and had a fab time! All in all, a very convenient relaxing space from which to base your exploration of Mauritius – we would recommend to anyone.

Un séjour inoubliable

Je vous recommande vivement la Villa Rosa qui exactement conforme aux photos, si ce n'est meilleur en réalité. La villa est spacieuse, propre et trés bien agencé. Les salles de bains dans toute les chambres sont trés appréciable surtout lorsque nous sommes en groupe avec enfants. Il y a tout les aménagements modernes. Notre séjour a été formidable, surtout grùce à Linlay dont je vous conseille ses délicieux plats mauriciens. N'hésitez pas de profiter de la piscine de la villa !!!!! Cette semaine de vacance aura été inoubliable et reposante grùce au professionnalisme de Shirley et la gentillesse de Linlay. Un grand merci !!! Lisa

Wir hatten mit unseren Freunden eine schöne Zeit in der Villa. Die Schwester der Gastgeberin, welche im Nachbarhaus lebt, stand uns stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und war sehr freundlich und zuverlĂ€ssig. Die RĂ€ume waren gerĂ€umig und sauber. Der Strand und einige Restaurants sind fußlĂ€ufig gut in ca. 20 Minuten zu erreichen.

Logement fonctionnel. Avons fait appel Ă  Linlay Ă  plusieurs reprises pour des repas, tous excellents.

trÚs bon séjour

villa en tout point conforme à l'annonce. bien située au calme et sécurisée. A 10mn à pied de la plage et de bons restaurants. La piscine est bien agréable comme l'ensemble de la villa. Notre arrivée a été trÚs facile grace à la communication avec Shirley et Linlay . Nous avons profité des bons petits plat de Linlay. Elle a été aux petits soins avec nous et nous avons beaucoup apprécié ses petits attentions.

TrÚs belle villa sécurisé et complÚtement clos.

J'ai louĂ© cette maison grĂące aux commentaires qui Ă©taient trĂšs positifs, mais je dois avouer qu'au dĂ©part je croyais que la maison Ă©tait en prĂ©fabriquĂ©e. Alors pas du tout et les photos ne mettent pas en valeur la maison comme il se doit. Elle est bien en dur, trĂšs spacieuse avec la terrasse oĂč il y a la piscine orientĂ©e plein sud, 4 belles chambres, un salon avec salle Ă  manger, une cuisine et un patio salon et salle Ă  manger. Il y a un studio dans le jardin mais il est inoccupĂ©. Linlay habite la maison Ă  cĂŽtĂ©, elle est adorable et vous aidera sur tout ce que vous pouvez lui demander. La communication avec Shirley est trĂšs efficace via WhatsApp. N'hĂ©sitez surtout pas, elle mĂ©rite vraiment ses 5/5.

Superbe maison securisĂ©e , propre spacieuse et agrĂ©able , belle piscine . L'accueil par Linlay est des plus chaleureux , d'une grande gentillesse et a l’écoute de tous nos besoins , une solution pour tout , en toute simplicitĂ© et discrĂ©tion. De plus , Linlay sait nous concocter de dĂ©licieux repas locaux , a un prix dĂ©fiant toute concurrence !! Bref , un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour a Villa Rossa !! A recommander vivement !
