Great location for the Seeland Triathlon. No issues taking my bike to the room. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. I didn't need the a/c as the weather had turned cold but was impressed they had it. I didn't use the bar or restaurant, and had very little breakfast, so can't comment on those areas. I was very happy that I was able to come back to the hotel and shower after the event before checking out at 12:30. One small criticism - the small bottle of complimentary water was already open, and some of the items on the mini bar price list were not there.

Leaving our wives and my girlfriend behind, we embarked on a "Bro-cation". This hotel was not yet at high capacity but the service was very good. Our bartender, the front desk staff and the recommendations for restaurants were very helpful. Of particular note was a guy who had emigrated years ago from Africa. He was so welcoming we felt special! Finally the running was over the top along the trail to the east and north along the lake. A wood chip trail in a straight on green tunnel. I plan a return with my girlfriend!

Arrived early before my check in time and thought I'd try for an early check in. Unfortunately the room wasn't ready so the receptionist offered me a breakfast while the room was made up. Very nice gesture ! The breakfast food on offer was basic , no hot food was available apart from boiled eggs that you cooked yourself. The room was clean and tidy, comfy bed which I had a great nights sleep in. Large bathroom with the usual bathroom facilities . No kettle in the room for hot drinks There was no air conditioning in the room and just having the window open didn't cool the room down enough for me. The free wifi was good, but for some reason doesn't cover the outdoor seating at the front of the hotel . The location was good ,'close enough to walk into

the hotel is inside very ok, all clean and nice, but outside a dark box, the ugly reception area is not a good reference to the level of the rooms. the breakfast is ok, the staff is very friendly. the hotel is situated some hundred meters from the lake. some nice restaurants are in the near.

For the past 4 years I had contract work in Switzerland near Murten and I have stayed at the SeePark many times. The staff is not just friendly, they have become my friends. They are so nice and eager to ensure one's needs are met. The hotel is very nice and conveniently located to the lake and downtown Murten area. Plenty of very nice, small restaurants in Murten to enjoy a variety of foods. Breakfast at the hotel is very good. The hotel rooms are air conditioned, so for us Americans on a warm summer day, this is appreciated. If you decide to stay at the SeePark, tell them Dave sent you. You won't be disappointed!

We had arranged for a number of our relatives to spend a long week-end at this hotel. All of them reported back to us that their rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were well equipped and brightly lit. The breakfast was lavish and the (free) wifi worked well. The serving staff and, specifically, also the receptionists were most obliging. Ms Berisha and Mr Tiago were said to have been particularly helpful and also fluent in English - most important for our English-speaking relations. The ample parking space and the close proximity of the lakeside promenade were additional aspects that were much appreciated. The glassed-in lifts running up the front of the building are fun and the corridors leading to the guest rooms are delightfully unusual with their central atrium.

We arrived by car and was easy to find. Free parking. The hotel is modern with a very large room and large bathroom with double sinks. Good wifi and air conditioning. Our room was quiet. Free breakfast. Davide at the front desk was very helpful, nice, and speaks English. The hotel is not located in the old town, but it is very close....only 1-2 minutes by car.

I feel really sad about this place which made me gloomy in my stay. Although I found all the front desk people are genuinely friendly, they are often short handed. The room I stayed in definitely failed to meet Swiss standard. I found the side tables were not dusted, the shower head is broken and the floor in the shower was dirty. For 200 CHF a night, I expect at least a clean and properly managed room even though it desperately need to be remodeled. The breakfast items were also below average. I will look for a different option if I am in the arena next time.

the hotel has probably changed the management... it improved respect to last visit. it's a bit out of the city, but it's quite; rooms are big enough, there is a nice bar inside, the lake is quite closed... not so bad, considering the location and the cost.
