We phoned to confirm that we would be arriving later than expected only to be informed that the hotel was closed due to a disruption to water supply. An attempt by the manager to find alternative accommodation, that took less than two minutes was fruitless. What would they have done had we arrived as per schedule

We booked two rooms for a one night family stay. The hotel is basic but had everything we needed and was comfortable. We used the restaurant in the evening and the food (pizza, wrap) was good. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. What really lifted the stay was the performance and attitude of the staff. Friendly and really helpful. Attentive at dinner and breakfast. A real effort at breakfast to keep items replenished and make sure people had what they wanted. Just before the end of breakfast staff made sure everyone knew the buffet was about to close, so they could go to get anything else they wanted.

Have to say Joel on the night shift check in service was so helpful and gave more of a 5star service went the extra mile I stay in a lot of budget hotels throughout the country and is by far wasted at the holiday in and should be in a posh 5 star as he went the extra mile

Exceptional Service

The staff make this hotel. All eight of us agreed we have never known such fantastic service. ALL the staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. The place was also very clean.
