I am using this Hotel for last 8 years been there over 10 times and can say that for the price of the room you are getting more then perfect room and service! :) So i can recomend it if you need to visit its just 5min driving from Canterbury
A group of us were going to the Rally Cross at Lydden Hill on Bank Holiday Monday. We were travelling from afar, so we booked two nights in this hotel and it fitted the bill perfectly. We had two rooms, very clean and comfortable and breakfast was just right in the mornings. We used the bar each evening and the staff could not have been more helpful. And the racing circuit is just down the road so our early(ish) start was perfect.
My husband and l stayed for one night and although it is a bit out of town we found it excellent staff friendly and helpful. Chef came out and we talked about what l could eat gluten free from the restaurant the food was basic but tasty and l had no reaction to it. The bed was comfortable and toiletries were avaible on resquest. The breakfast was first class and gluten free options were avaible on request the buffett was really good and the choice was wide Well done will use hoilday Inn again as price very reasonable
Its as you would expect for a budget hotel. The room is OK, the bar has no atmosphere, but its very close top a busy road so i had to contend with a lot of road noise. Also they charge you to park your car even if you are staying at the hotel, overall disappointing
Couldn’t find our booking on arrival & reception was very dismissive - not what you need after a long day!! Day1 our room wasn’t cleaned but things did improve moving forward. Staff overall excellent & breakfast was well organised though not exciting. Downside the noise from A2 was non-stop & paying for parking is just out & out profiteering!! Initial impressions weren’t great with 3 containers in the car park & smoking area right outside hotel.
Very good adapted room we had a conected room for our kids. Lovely and clean. Breakfast is included which was good. We had food in the restaurant which was really good excellent chef. It is close to a busy road though you could hardly hear it.
Nice if you want to visit Canterbury but you need to have a car because it is around 5km from the historic center. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. But you hear the trafic from the highway which is next to the hoteo. The negative point is that you have to pay for the parking, even if you have a room... Breakfast is good.
Ideal for Canterbury and many other places including the coast. The hotel is behind the petrol station which is on the left coming from London. Popular with groups going to Canterbury. Busy when we were there. Parking is £2.50 per day just outside hotel front. Good rooms. Has a disabled toilet on the right a little after the entrance. I have to say poor breakfast as the bacon was horrible. It even looked bad!
Friendly efficient service. Immaculate, comfortable room, fantastic dinner, (we used a Groupon for 3 course dinner) and a great, included breakfast. The staff were some of the best customer service peoe I've ever encountered. Highly recommended.
We stayed 1 night before a funeral ,the room was ok but it was impossible to sleep !!!!!The road noise was incessant and so loud we were in 2147 I felt we were in the middle of the motorway it was quieter in the car .I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you managed to get a different room ......awful night all in all
