A wonderful location just minutes away by foot from the busy heart of downtown Cannon Beach at the first exit off 101 as you head south from 26. Each room is unique in this multi-building lodge built in the 1940s and updated. Different styles. Different prices. Different furniture. Our room was the least expensive and a second floor but it had a balcony that you can see the ocean from and look down on the beautiful gardens and koi pond. The lobby had cookies and coffee throughout the day. The staff was helpful. The lawns were cut. The place was clean. I gave it a 4 for maintenance because there are many areas outside showing peeling paint and it could use a refreshening. But an enjoyable stay for our overnight trip at a moderate price for Cannon Beach. I recommend it.
