Very nice little hotel on Isla Mujeres only 4 rooms ,right on the ocean ,spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, very good location close to town and several good restaurantswould not hesitate to stay again

We only stayed our last 2 nights here of our 11 day stay on Isla and we loved it. The location was nice on the Caribbean side and easy to get to town. Our room was very basic but had all we needed and was clean. The king size bed was very comfortable and it was wonderful laying there looking out at the ocean. Small kitchenette with bottled water, sink, frig and microwave. Small table and chairs. There is a nice front patio with 2 chairs and was nice sitting there under the big tree lit up with lights. You have back patio too facing the sea with 2 loungers and also 2 chairs and umbrella. There is also a very small dipping pool. This was so nice and what we loved about this place is the most beautiful setting and view. You are right on the ocean and can hear the ocean all day and night. It’s just beautiful. As you open your front door and enter and all you see is the beautiful blues of the sea it feels amazing. We just happened to be driving around checking out different properties for future visits and I had known about this place from my research. There was a very kind employee outside and he let us in to look. We booked our last 2 nights as soon as seeing. It’s nothing fancy and as said, very basic but had it all for us. We look forward to a return to Luna D’Miel for a much longer stay!

Beautiful, beautiful spot! The back deck is gorgeous, overlooking the ocean! Very private feel. You share the deck with just a couple other suites. Lounge chairs & umbrellas make it comfortable hanging out any time of day. Rooms were clean and comfortable! The views just breathtaking. Dipping pool perfect for cooling off during the day & beautifully lit at night. Wake up early to enjoy some of THE BEST sunrises! And watch the colors wash over the sky at sunset. Amazing. Plan a few minutes to flag down a taxi - or rent a golf cart or bike! It's great to be nice and secluded, away from all the noise of the touristy part of the island :)

All I have is just great comments about this wonderful little place. Beginning with the staff members very nice and helpful, once you enter into the room, is the beautiful view of the beach , a walk out patio furnished with hammock , 2 beach chairs, table with umbrella and chairs. The room & bathroom extremely CLEAN. The hotel is about 15-20minutes was to shops, bar , restaurants and the main beach. Just wonderful!!! I do recommend Isla Mujeres and Luna D' Miel as a destination.

I loved this hotel. The room was big, clean, and full of light. You can hear the waves. Step outside onto your patio and you're right there by the ocean (with lots of iguanas), a hammock, and a little pool. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to all my friends. It was extremely relaxing and romantic. The only slight drawback is (if you don't have your own means of transportation) that it can be hard to get a taxi here at night. We rented bikes, which was a great way to get around the island, but since the streets near the hotel aren't lit, it felt a little dicey riding there sometimes.

We really enjoyed our time at Luna d'Miel. It was exactly as advertised - simple, clean, friendly and comfortable. The patio is exceptional - it's a great place to watch the ocean, read, cool off in the plunge pool or watch the sun/moon rise. We loved watching the iguanas who sun themselves on the rocks next to the beach. The wifi was good, the beds were comfortable and the quiet and efficient a/c provided a welcome respite from the heat (particularly at night). The only downside is that it is a few minutes' walk into town. It's really not far, but can be hot and noisy. However, cabs are easy to find and are not expensive. I would happily stay at Luna d'Miel again and would recommend it to others.

The accommodations aren't luxurious, but much more than adequate. The view of the Caribbean is wonderful and the hosts, Isabel, Mario and Hilda are super friendly. It's a 15 minute walk to town and 20 minute walk to Chedraui shopping. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, reasonably priced place to stay, where you can watch the sunrise every morning from the patio, then Luna d'Miel would be an excellent choice.

We loved our stay at Luna d'Miel so much. It is a basic room but we were very comfortable. The shower pressure was good and we had heat without too much waiting, the toilet flush you need to hold down for a bit but no issues with flushing, and the bathroom was kept clean by the daily cleaning service. The kitchen was bare bones (we would have loved a can opener, a sharper knife, and wish there was a hot plate instead of just a microwave but we made due.) The kitchen was quite clean and there were filters for the coffee pot which brewed nice coffee. We never turned on the TV but it was a 30 inch flat screen. The wifi was not too slow inside the room and spotty sitting outside on the terrace. Best when you got closer to the manager's desk area. The bed was very comfortable. We slept so well. We loved the view more than anything and the plunge pool kept us cool and was clean. Isabel was communicative and helpful. The only downside is I think the hotel is slightly overpriced. We paid $456.00 Canadian dollars for three nights. The view makes it worth it and we would go again, but I would expect a hotel with basic rooms, no amenities, and no nearby restaurants to be a little bit less expensive.

This is not a 5 star resort but you can't beat the views! It is a 3 unit apartment on the locals side of the island. You will need a golf cart to get around and this is why I put average for the location. It is very simple but cute. Well worth the money! The best is the view outside the back door!! Every morning we would wake up to iguanas the size of cats by our door. We had no problems or complaints.

First things first - don't expect 5* luxury. This isn't that kind of place. What we received was a good value home away from home. Pros - lovely patio where you can hear the waves crash - very clean - spacious - excellent wifi - kitchen provided for basic meal prep cons - set up by the airfield (no traffic most days don't worry) you are at least 20 mins away from the heart of town. We are quite fit but in the sun this can be an annoyance - lack of immediate amenities, shops and restaurants are 10 mins away. Recommend walking down the mango cafe if you are here - I know it is seasonal but there was a lot of ants within the property All in all, great place to stay on great island
