We came here based on Tripadvisor reviews and it was our first experience in Mexico. What an introduction to a beautiful country! Steve has made this place the most comfortable, social and creative space. Just join him on the rooftop each evening and find out for yourself. Great evenings spent talking and laughing with the best Margaritas (I even got the recipe!) and sharing time with other guests. Great breakfasts and beautiful rooms. We would come back in a heartbeat (and we probably will). Hola Steve
I’ve stayed here several times over the years and each visit to Casa Sirena the experience is more outstanding. Impeccable service and cleanliness. Great breakfasts and happy hours. Centrally located to restaurants shops and beeches.
Isla Mujeres attracts amazing people, Casa Sierena brings them together in one place. This was our second stay here, and we never leave with less than 5 new friends. Steve, Jane, Beverly, and the AMAZING staff make everything just right.
Finally returned to Casa Sirena after a 5 year absence & it is everything I remember. I would award 6 stars if available!! Steven is an outstanding host, the property is beautiful in a great island location, his staff is the best, friendly always smiling. Wonderful breakfasts & oh the Happy Hours!!
Perfectly located within walking distance from the zocalo and yet in a quiet side street offering great views of the caribbean side. Steve and his staff are incredible. Superior service with a smile, best breakfasts on the island, and THE SUNSET rooftop happy hour...MAGIC
I dont know that I can add anything to all the wonderful reviews that have been written before this one, other than to confirm this place is THE place you want to make your home base in Isla! Good people, good fun and fond memories. Thanks Steve for being such a fantastic host. Hope to see you again very soon! Lynn
This was my third trip to Isla Mujeres and second time staying at Casa Sirena. We loved it so much the first time we couldn't wait a full year before coming back, and this time brought both family and friends with us! Casa Sirena is perfect if you're looking to go just as a couple (as my boyfriend and i did last summer) or as a group like we did this week. The breakfasts every morning are incredible, the owner hosts fantastic happy hours at their rooftop bar every night, and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. If you're looking to arrange an activity like snorkeling for your whole group they'll help you with that as well! This year we stayed over my boyfriend's birthday and they helped us order a cake in advance, and the owner showed us to the best dinner spot we could have imagined, it made his birthday unforgettable!! I can't say enough good things about this hotel or recommend it enough! The staff is out of this world kind, the hotel is beautiful, and the island itself is amazing. We'll no doubt be returning next year, if not sooner!
This was our third trip to Isla Mujeres, first time staying at Casa Sirena. Wow, what a place. You know how often times you stay at a place and you say, “This place is great, but …” Well there are no “buts” at Casa Sirena. The attention to detail is incredible. A charming, small bed and breakfast with traditional and tasteful local decor. Fabulous courtyard for breakfast. Our room had everything you needed along with a view out over the water. The rooftop bar and plunge pool, awesome. And the people, wonderful. Jane made us feel right at home when we arrived. We met the owner, Steve, at the nightly happy hour at the rooftop bar. He was the perfect host. Generous, knowledgeable, affable and maker of delicious appetizers. And quite the bartender! You meet the other guests, as well people who have stayed there in the past … a really fun gathering. It’s really not to be missed. Great margaritas (and whatever else you’d like). Breakfast is fantastic. Specials change every day, plenty of options. And the staff is so accommodating. As is the owner, Steve. He knows the island inside and out and was very gracious with his time. He steered us in all the right directions. All the local places to hit. The ones not to. An intimate and friendly stay at a place that felt like home, on a quiet end of the street, but about a block from all the action. So net, net … no “buts” at Casa Sirena!
Casa Sirena is in a great location on this beautiful island with so much to do! We walked to the beach almost everyday and rented golf carts to get to further parts of the island. Steve is amazing and hosts a great happy hour with entertainment almost every night. Nothing beats the rooftop of Casa Sirena at sunset with a margarita in hand, and a little live music. Jose is also wonderful. He gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped make reservations, get us golf carts, and really anything we needed to make our stay stress-free. Last but not least, the staff at Casa Sirena are so kind and welcoming. Jane let me use her phone for about 50 minutes while waiting on hold to change my flight to stay one extra day and also helped me look up what number to call. She was a lifesaver. The staff who clean the rooms make it an extra special and relaxing space for you to stay with their cute towel decorations. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. These staff are truly talented. I can't wait to be back!
It’s getting harder and harder to come home from Casa Sirena. Home is wonderful, but CS and Isla is one of those few spots that you can go to leave it all behind you. Between Steve and Jose and the staff at the hotel everything is taken care of. Your only obligation is to find a wonderful place for dinner after an amazing day at the beach.(and they help with that too). Tough duty. This was our eighth visit and our next one is already being planned.
