Lovely luxury lodge in a beautiful setting
Lovely luxurious lodge. Bright and airy. The view is beautiful. Great little hot tub. Would definitely stay again.
The site facilities were great.
The lodge although clean on the surface definitely needs a deep clean. The cooker hood was very dusty, maybe from the ongoing building works but covered in a thick layer of dust. Also the pillows have no protective covers. Unfortunately the bathroom attached to the master bedroom has a leak and the door frame and carpet badly damaged.
I did flag it with the team as its only going to get worse if not sorted. Such a shame as it's s beautiful lodge.
Also although there is designated swimming for family and children the golf club members were clearly unhappy at children being in the pool. They constantly made you feel uncomfortable which was off putting. Maybe they need reminding of family swim times.
