I started using this hotel because it was close to work for meetings. Now I use it personally because it's a great location for getting around Calgary, close to shopping and airport, easy to get to. Nice and clean, quiet and very friendly staff.
We checked into your property on Tuesday July 18th where we were welcomed by a new trainee. I believe her name was Natasha, When we got to the property we were welcomed nicely and during our check in process she had made a small error which she professionally corrected and apologized for. She than told us where our room was located and soon after getting to the room called us to make sure that everything was okay. My wife and I think she has a bright career ahead of her and she will be a great representative at the front desk. We are very pleased with her service and the way she helped us and made us feel welcomed.
Fantastic hotel! The staff was very accommodating and let us check in early. The room was clean and bigger than I expected! The chemical levels in the hot tub were a little high, and the Wi-FI didn't work so great, but other than that our stay was great!
As we have to visit the Alberta Childrens Hospital at least once a month, sometimes many more, and coming up to my daughters bone marrow transplant we will need to relocate for several months to Calgary, we throughy enjoy staying here. The breakfast is wonderful with several options, the rooms and facilities are medical grade clean, the staff go above and beyond to accommodate us, and the rooms are affordable. Couldn't ask for anything better during a very difficult period for our family.
We stayed at the Days Inn Calgary Airport for 3 nights July 7-10, 2017. Overall the hotel was good. We drove to Calgary for a family event & chose this location as it was close to the event. The location was good and was close to restaurants , the mall box stores & a casino. There was a Tim Horton's & McDonald's at the back of the property so you could walk to them. The room was spacious with a king bed & pull out sofa bed that my son slept on. My one complaint was that the air conditioner did not work well. It was during the weekend of Calgary's heat wave so when we retired to our room we would have liked it cooler. My daughter's room had the same problem & her room was actually alittle worse. We did open the window so with the combo of a/c & fresh air it was more bearable the last night. The 2nd & 3rd nights we returned to our room late & were too tired to complain about the a/c & just went to bed. If you do stay here see if the a/c works when you 1st get your room. The breakfast was good. Twice there was sausage patties and fried eggs, one morning there was boiled eggs and ham. There was a pancake maker, cereals, a selection of muffins, bread and bagels, yogart and a basket with fruit. Also juice, coffee & teas & hot chocolate. It was very good. There was a pool with a water slide, hot tub and an exercise room with weights, an elliptical, treadmill & exercise bike which were all fine. Overall we liked the hotel. The rooms overall were good, great location, good breakfast and amenities. It is good for families, couples and single people. I recommend it for everyone and would stay here again.
Home away from home, great friendly place to stay ... if you need a staycation or visiting from another city or country. The staff at the Days Inn well make sure you are well taken care of and very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast, lots of choices, great food
Clean and beautiful rooms, new lovely service and absolutely great staff... we were offered breakfast at 11am which was unreal!!!! Definitely staying there again since I travel a lot to calgary for work, will be my new hotel of choice :) thank you.
Went for a family trip in Calgary for 4 nights.Good location, good price, staff is nice, specially those two ladies from the counter.Breakfast is good, one morning we were missing forks and knifes, and some members of the staff were not paying attention at all and there were talking to each other,we need to ask for knifes,forks,plates,coffe...the pool is tiny and dirty, and very busy, people are supposed to use the pool for half un hour and leaving the other families too,but no,they keep staying for hours and screaming inside.since when people start having fun with screaming???The room was big enought, with poor clean, the bathroom too...In 4 nights i thing they change the sheets once,i am not even sure about that, propably not at all...Final note, the price is correct, the rest less..
This is a hotel with exceptionally clean rooms, great, friendly and very approachable staff always ready to satisfy customers every necessity. You feel welcome and always greeted as family there. It's real pleasure to come there every time when we visit Calgary.
Very accommodating staff. We like the breakfast options and the service is excellent. Room is very clean and new. Close to everything and hotel is quiet and safe. Great value for money. We didn't realize that we book the accessible room but its alright. Comfortable bed.
