Perfect, clean, elegant, well located, excelent service
Location is very close to major downtown attractions, restaurants and shopping. Hotel was very clean and decor was nice. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The only slight negative was that we could hear train sounds from the railroad behind the hotel, and that during check-in there was some confusion and delay due to improper explanation from hotel staff of the room availability.
Beautiful lobby and spacious room. Gracious greeting on arrival. Room was a little dark and we were disappointed that a “junior suite” did not have a separate living area. It was more like a large hotel room and instead of 2 armchairs by a window, there was a small sofa and coffee table on one end of the room. This did not meet expectations for a junior suite!
Lovely heritage property. The train that runs along the south side of the building was, surprisingly, less distracting than the dog across the hall barking non-stop for hours on end.
Due to covid, room service is not available. Housekeeping will deliver extra towels, coffee pods, etc on request.
