The lobby was clean and good looking. The breakfast was free. That's it for positive comments. The room was dirty. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. The shower was full of rust, water stains, and it sprayed water outside of the shower. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms; you had to go to the lobby to use it. Even then, it was very weak. Other than the lobby, the hotel had a very cheap feel.

We found the location, food and staff specially Ghada and Mohamed in the reception so cooperative and worm handling

Very nice hotel. I definitively recommend it. Room was nice and clean. I could see the Pyramids from hotel room. Awesome experience.

It's pretty close to the pyramids, if you don't mind a little exercise, you can walk. Nice pool and interior as well.

Very unprofessional front desk staff. Great food at restaurant. Room was average, very clean, but nothing toi rave about. This place is a classy dump, Le Meridien across the street is a lot better...

Our stay was wonderful! We can't remember ever being so relaxed away from home. It was my first trip out of country and I would definately recommend this Hotel to anyone!!! Taxi Driver Furook was the best driver and tour guide while we were there.

staff kept billing us for charges we already paid so please keep your receipt also we asked for wake up calls they called us a hour late or not at all

The location of the hotel was close to the pyramids the rooms were a little tired but clean (there was water leaking out of the walls and getting the carpet wet. I told the people at the front desk but they just shrugged it off It really was not that big of deal !) The hotel staff were very nice. The restaurant and the bar were well run. The city of Cairo is a very dirty and crowded town (cairo makes tijuana look like a health spa) and I would certainly never go back. I have seen the pyramids and it's over. But the hotel experience itself was good.

The hotel 'Sofitel Le Sphinx Cairo, El Giza, Egypt' is in a good location, within sight and a mile or two of the major pyramids, but they lack some basic amenities, as well as basic quality and service standards. No bottled water in the rooms despite signs saying the tap water should not be drank. - Smoking is allowed in the restaurant / breakfast area as well as throughout the reception area, so no getting away from it. - There are minibars in each room but, I was told, none of them have anything in them.

I had a great room with a balcony. The hotel is very nice, within walking distance to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Lots of restaurants within the hotel. The rooftop restaurant is great. Staff is friendly to deal with and the nightclub in the hotel is fun (although it starts very late).

Very clean and in a nice part of Cairo. Good view of the pyramids from the Hoyel. Food was very good with several restaurants. Nice size pool. Excellent value. Rooms were clean and good sized.
