My stay was great until I checked out. My deposit was returned, then I was continually harassed for a $10 late check out fee that I was told upon check-in that it would be taken out of my deposit. It was an error from your company staff that this was not done, (not mine!). After a few phone calls from you, your staff member decided to wave the $10. My point is that the error was made by your staff/not me!.

A welcoming staff and a room with a few dishes and cutlery made out stay easy and comfortable. It was a quiet area yet within minutes of the vibrant nightlife of the Esplanade.

Late check-in via coded safe : Entry card would not work. Had to ask other guests to let us in and activate lift. Fortunately room entry was with a key! Rang after hours number which rang out. Unable to rectify problem until after 8next morning. Not happy! Severely limited our evening’s dining as we would be locking ourselves out.

Walkable to restaurants, cafes and major tourist attractions. The room was spacious and neatly arranged but the building itself seems a bit dated. The breakfast at “The Chambers” was superb.

The location and overall standard of the accommodation was as expected for a good price However, despite excellent reception and housekeeping staff the wake up call from drilling to repair the closed swimming pool at 9am after long flight from Singapore was unacceptable - please tell your guests about work being undertaken at the hotel in future - the offer of use of a nearby pool was helpful - the use of a nearby hotel room with no drilling would have been better !!
