This is our favorite vrbo home, the host does not leave out a single thing and it is always incredibly clean. Charming decor, beautiful elevated sunset views and amazing location close to Round Top. She has plenty of activities like puzzles and games and the pool is perfect. The setup of the home is perfect for everyone.

Beautiful & spacious

The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen I thoughtfully labeled and stocked with all that we needed, included snacks, treats, coffee and accoutrements. The bathrooms had an abundance of towels, bath robes, slippers, and even advil and makeup remover wipes!

Great family getaway

Beautiful property close to round top! We went with our 1 year old and another family and their 2 year old. The kids loved the pool and the open floor plan of the house made it easy to keep an eye on them. Amanda thought of everything stocking the house with toiletries, cooking supplies and smores kit. Adorable welcome gift. Nothing but positive things to say about the house. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Weekend get away

This was the perfect place for our family, right between Austin and Houston. The house had everything we needed, we did not need to leave once. The host was fantastic, very accommodating and communicative. We will be back!

Fabulous retreat!

Not only is the house fantastic, Amanda is the most thoughtful host. Virtually anything you need is already in the house. We love the country setting, the pool, the shuffleboard table, the fire pit (with s’more supplies!) and so much more.

Trip to the Round Top Antique show weekend!

We were so impressed from the moment we drove up, until the moment we walked in the beautiful house. Pictures didn’t do this place justice. Large kitchen and living space. Great back patio. Beautiful rooms and the master bedroom And bath are spectacular! We want to come back in the spring. Thank you Amanda! What a sweet welcoming package!

The Perfect getaway

Wonderful Family Get Together

We booked The Retreat for a short family get together and were looking for a ranch style home for my mother. This home exceeded our expectations. We loved all of the thoughtful touches that Amanda included, such as plenty of pool towels, paper goods, coffee, snacks, and toiletries. Small things make such a big difference! The house was very clean, pool was clean, and everything worked great. Communication with Amanda was easy, and it is apparent that she takes great pride in providing a wonderful guest experience. The Retreat was exactly what we were looking for and we had a great time.

Best Rental I've Ever Stayed At

Do not hesitate! This place is impeccably done. I found this property and booked it because of the pool. I had no idea how much better The Retreat would be beyond what the pictures show. Every little detail is perfection - the kitchen organization / tools, the comfort of the beds and bedding, the decor, the maintained landscape, the floats, the bathroom toiletrees from makeup remover wipes to individualized mouthwashes. Truly every thing was thought of to maximize enjoyment and relaxation. Amanda couldn't have been more helpful and joyous in her communications. Check in and check out was seamless. This is the best rental I've ever experienced and I've stayed at over 50. I hardly ever write reviews but just feel so grateful to Amanda for her generosity and skill as a host. Thank you for creating the perfect getaway.
