1. No WiFi unless I joined a network that required disclosed of personal information (full name, email address, street address, second address, etc
2. Could call front desk to explore this problem because phone in room was dead
3. Could not warm room adequately
4. Asked for senior discount at desk upon arrival and was told I would have had to press “1” for front desk upon making reservations, not moved on to “2” for reservations, cuz that is an outside source and once they do the reservations the local motel’s hands are tied
5. Poor paint job, not only edges not clean, and poor edging of wall/floor trim, but paint peeling off metal drain in tub. The whole effect is of an old cheap motel given a low grade face lift including the added outer walls on ground level to created enclosed hallways
6. Parking lot broken up and painted strips faded and worn
7. Staff appeared not to care much, just doing their duty for their job with little apparent interest in the experience of the customer
