The facility looks nice and the rooms are well kept. They had an issue with an alarm going off all night long. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk he called Maintenance but didn’t offer another room. They appeared to know of the issue. After 15 minutes more of the alarm going off I went back and was given a different room supposably on the other side of the hotel but it was on the same floor a little farther away but the alarm could still be heard. It took a third time going to the front desk to get a room on the 4th floor away from the alarm. Service level and time to address a known significant issues was extremely poor.

This was very comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The hotel has a bit of an odd design- some of the rooms have windows that face inside the hotel dining and lounge space. As a solo female traveler next time I would make sure to book an outward facing window so I could have privacy and natural light. I wasn’t able to open the window at all during my stay as it was easy to see inside. The food was awful for a vegetarian but had many options available if you do eat meat. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are the kind that deflate completely when you lay down- so I needed a few extra. The staff were happy to accommodate that request and were genuinely kind and responsive during my stay. While it has some small draw backs- it was comfortable, safe, mostly quiet, and I got warm cookies when I walked in. A brilliant marketing tactic that I thoroughly enjoyed.

We stayed in room #426. Room was generally quiet, aside from the AC, which was on the loud side. Bathroom door creaked. There was a burn hole in the rug. No pillows on the couch, which was sunken and also creaked. We tried to use the pool, but it was colder than the Atlantic ocean. We had them clean every other day, but when they did, they never gave us clean glasses again, they left some paper cups and that was it. They also never gave us another bath mat when they took the first one. There were half a dozen parking spaces reserved for something, but never saw anyone use them in 4 days. But the shower worked great! All this for $300+ a night. Not staying there again.
