Very kind very quiet
Location is great!
Convenient to the airport and in walking distances to restaurants.
Good and comfortable room and bed. Friendly staff.
I have been trying to find a place to stay overnight in Burlington for years. This is my new place.
This is everything you could ask for, for this cheap. I especially appreciated the power strip by the bed - I wish every hotel did that.
Easy check-in and a good place to sleep before an early flight.
My husband and I came to Burlington for our 17th wedding anniversary. When we arrived at at 2:30pm to check in the office was closed. We walked next door and bought one beer each to celebrate our kid free night. We sat in the only seating outside which was near the pool. I went & checked when it opened & went back to my husband. A moment later the owner is at the gate waving his arms threatening to throw me out & asking "whose this guy, is he with you" & "you know the rules". I said this is my husband, I just checked in & said there were 2 people. He continues yelling about rules, I am truly clueless. He then says the bottles. I frantically look for a sign to see what rule I am breaking that has him screaming at me & there is not a sign so I say what rule, there is not anything posted, I thought it may have been an open container law. He then says glass, come on you know that. I truly did not. We were far from the pool, not swimming & only had one beer each. He demanded a copy of my husbands license & threatened to throw us out. Had every hotel in Burlington not been booked we would have gladly left but we were not going to let this aggressive man affect our anniversary. Had my husband not been there I would have felt physically threatened by him as he came out of no where screaming & yelling and stood in my personal space. I am a 39 year old mom of two kids who has never even gotten a speeding ticket in my life. Check yelp reviews and you will see this is a repeat pattern.
The owner, a Tibetan refugee, was very friendly and interesting - we had an interesting conversation, for almost an hour, about the situation in Tibet, his love of the Dalai Lama, and his experiences there and in the USA. However, he has a quite volatile personality which seems to have become confrontational, according to other reviews, but we found him quite charming. Our room has spotless, and appeared to have been renovated recently. We enjoyed our stay overall.
A great no-frills hotel. The owner was super friendly and the room was clean, simple and perfect for a night or two in the Burlington area.
The motel owner is a lovely man who conveys a peaceful atmosphere. He is friendly, accommodating, and hard working - he mans the front desk, fields all requests, and does all the housekeeping. He clearly cares deeply about his business and the comfort of his customers. The accommodations were simple and clean. Special mention must be made of the beds and pillows, which are incredibly comfortable. We slept extremely well! This hotel is a very good choice for the traveler on a budget.

I am sorry that you are upset but for the safety of everyone beverages that are in bottles are not permitted inside the fence of pool. We hope everybody understand and respect that rule.
