My Mom and I came out for a girls trip and loved our room, the property and it's facilities. It would be even more enjoyable in warmer weather. The only recommendation I would make is to have the option to purchase or rent new movies. We were looking forward to relaxing with a good movie.
I stayed at Fairfield and beds were so bad we had to leave our stay early bc no one was sleeping. This was a big improvement. After many sleepless nights we arrived here and found comfortable bed and we finally got some sleep. The staff was friendly and kind. We highly recommend
I was truly surprised at the level of guest concern and attention to satisfaction. A great team at this resort. Marriott can be proud of this resort. Very pleased. Clean, comfortable suite. No issues to note.
Upon check-in, greeted by warm, helpful staff that answered questions about the area. I can't say enough good things about all the personnel as everyone was helpful throughout the stay. The rooms are in need of some repair though ... we stayed in a room facing the road and could hear every car driving by. The doors and windows need some TLC ... they are nice if you enjoy a nice gentle breeze throughout your room but not so good if you want some piece and quiet to sleep.
First, I have to say that the staff are wonderful. Beyond wonderful in fact. From check in to check out, every staff member was thoughtful and considerate. I wish I could rate them separately as top notch. It is because of them that the stay was not horrible. But the rooms are not great. They may be clean, but they are drafty! I did not sleep because I kept shivering all night. In the morning, I could see the daylight creeping in underneath the door. When I went to place my suitcase near the door, I could feel the cold emanating from the wall. When I looked out the window, I noticed the building next to us had more than a dozen patches on the roof. The buildings need weatherproofing, insulation, etc. My folks had a room in the building next to us. My mom has allergies to cats and dogs and could not sleep due to the animals that were in her building. There was a dog in the room above them. It barked all through the night whenever it felt its territory threatened: other guests walking around outside, squirrels in trees, etc. There should really be a building just for pets and their owners. Unless this property gets renovated, we will not be staying there again. Customer service is important, and the staff here are stellar, but the fact that we left more exhausted than when we arrived is the number one reason we won't go back.
This hotel had excellent service. The hotel staff were very attentive. The front desk called my room after I had checked in to see if I needed anything; I have not had this attention in other hotels that I have stayed at. I really appreciate it. The room was clean. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends, family, and colleagues.
Great location while visiting University of Buffalo, nice , large, clan rooms, with full size refrigerators, kitchen, great location.parking and delicious breakfast. Will definitely recommend to others
This was our 5th stay in this hotel in the last eight months. Every time was great. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spotless. The breakfast is well stocked and very good. This is the place to stay if your visiting Buffalo in the UB area.
The room had all the amenities of home. We relaxed and were able to watch TV and cook food. The room had everything you could possibly need. We brought some food and wine. The room even had wine glasses. The bed was so comfortable. It was very quiet where we were. I will definitely plan another night away.
I needed to stay at a local hotel in proximity to a hospital that my wife needed to be. This Marriott was reasonably close and reasonably priced. Room was very clean, and I enjoy the feeling of being at someone’s home with all the amenities. Breakfast was fine, staff helpful and courteous.
