We spent over an hour trying to get into our room until they figured out that the door was broken and had to be reprogrammed. It took an hour and a half for a maintenance person to come up and break in the door with a crowbar and tell us we couldn’t leave for the rest of the night because we would be locked out again. The ceiling was peeling and the windows were so foggy you could barely see out of them and the shower drained so slow it turned into a bath. The heater also made so much nausea that you could barely hear yourself think.

A great location and beautiful hotel! Bar was very nice and food service was open late.

Proximity to events was nice. Construction in the room above me at 8 am on a weekend morning was not. Nor was not having the bathroom near the restaurant cleaned before brunch. Or the food and drink running out before it was over.

Location is good, the place is shabby and dirty. Room prices are way too high for what it is. The front desk staff was great, both at check in and check out. Bartenders good but some hot head manager showing obvious disdain for one female bartender in particular in front of customers. I didn't eat there so no comments on restaurant. Pay for parking garage does not have adequate signage to guide customers to hotel. Some elevator buttons didn't work and lights were out on some buttons and on the walls.

They are working on it but there were spiders on a lamp and sand fleas in the carpet.

Great price, located near everything downtown and canal side. Found a lot of dust on the vent in the bathroom, a/c noisy with facia falling off, even with the window closed I could hear all the noise on street, shower curtain rod kinda held in place with electrical tape but all in all a great place to stay

I liked the location . I was fine with the room but keep in mind this property is listed at a lower rate because it is under construction. If you want a perfect room this is not the place but the service was great, staff was great, and to frequent canalside activities it was perfect. I am an adult swimmer and they do have a nice pool but there were too many children hogging the pool . Just sayin .... The restaurant offered very little food but the bar was spectacular. The ambiance was superb and the elevators were fast. They do have a coffee bar in the lower level but no good breakfast or pastry. I did like the beds but the windows were so old you could not see the view of the city on the 8 th floor. Eventually they will update it all and it will be a great spot to behold again .

Staff was awesome on checking in. Bits a bit confusing once off the exit but they got me checked in and answered all my questions

Rooms old musty showet People nice Easy to get around

The lady that checked us in was not very friendly, didn’t direct us to the parking lot so we could park after we paid for parking, she just handed us the keycards didn’t tell us the direction of the room and expected us to just find our way. Also asked me to sign a no smoking policy without a propped explanation of what I was signing. She just seemed as if I was bothering her. We also had a coffee maker in the room but no coffee or cups provided. The final straw was the ice maker on the third floor was unsanitary with some unknown substance dried on it, i absolutely could not use it. No I will not be staying there what.

No soap in bathroom No coffee , cup, or tea in room . When mentioned biome really seemed to care . Had stayed before and had good experience so we went back . Prob never again . Restaurant food and staff great

Is this hotel a joke? Or a prison? It took an hour to check-in with the very rude staff, there was a bag of garbage in the corner of our room, the roof was leaking so much that it was spraying the bed... speaking of the bed, it was tiny and there were so many feathers everywhere that 3 days later, I’m still picking them out of my hair. When we mentioned these complaints, they told us the hotel was recently purchased so hopefully our stay will be better next time. There will be no next time, Buffalo Grand.

this was a disaster .. baby crib broken told me I couldn't get a receipt .. what a shithole

Manager was very accommodating after 2 room changes and unpleasant staff.

We reserved three rooms total for our stay. Each room had something major wrong with it...air not working, sink with no water, tub would not drain. They did come and fix what they could, but it was still disappointing.
