We stayed there for 5 days. Although the room are a bit small, we highly recommend this hotel. It is new, the staff is very nice and welcoming, the breakfast is exactly what you need in these type of trips and the location is very good.
Ok location - very small room - over priced for size of room and bathroom size - -beds small- Over priced for size of sleeping area and bathroom. Had larger rooms and more updated hotel in Budapest on same visit .
I stayed 1 night in Soho Hotel a few days ago and I am very thankful it was only for 1 night. I gave it 2 stars because the location is good and the man who checked me in (Kristian?) was very nice and helpful. The "room" is more like a closet it is so small. You can barley even walk in the room and there is nowhere to put the suitcase making the situation even worse. The beds were miniature and hard. The bathroom was equally as small and the "soap" that was in the shower smelled awful like a kid ate a cherry ice pop and vomited it up. There is nothing about this hotel that reminds me of SoHo and would not recommend this hotel unless it was about 1/3 of the price I paid.
We stayed for 5 nights, the room was small but grand as we did not stay long in room. The bathroom only had a shower this was great as this was all we asked for.Our room(105) was quiet and over looked court yard area people could walk pass our room just outside our room window. The check in was quick ,we had to pay 150000 for a disposit on mini bar which we got back on checkout ,this could be payed in euro which would be better as you can not use Hungian money else where in Europe. We would stay again as the hotel was so close to shops, bus and bars
The hotel is very good for a short time break in Budapest. The location in the lively Jewish quarter known for it´s night life is very good for those choosing to use it. Room was fine, breakfast ok and the staff was friendly and service minded.
We were trying to find somewhere to sleep after our plane was really delayed. Staff are lovely and very friendly. Very helpful even when we asked for a room at 5am. Rooms are really nice and well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Budapest
We had an enjoyable time at the Soho Boutique Hotel. Check in was quick and informative. Our room was sufficient. We were barely in it as we spent most of our time exploring the city. This hotel is definitely not boutique. It needs a few touch-ups, but those minor details weren't really important to us. The room was small but clean. It is VERY close to public transport, as well as walking distance to many eateries. We would stay here again.
The staff is very friendly and helpful (ADAM,KINGA,KITTI). Breakfast was good, and had a nice variety of foods to choose from . The WIFI (FREE) was very important to me. I found it available at any time and in a good rate. when I check in I got key for room 508, this room should not be a room in a hotel, it look like dungeon, I went down immediately and got a room which was much comfortable. The furniture are old and need to be replace, and so the towel's which had better days.
My partner and I stayed at this hotel recently for 4nights bed and breakfast. It was our first time visiting Budapest. Greeted by friendly staff on arrival to check in. Each member of staff we meet were very helpful. We booked city sightseeing bus tour from the hotel themselves which appeared to be a good buy. But it seems that you can buy tickets for the thermal spa from the hotel too. Rooms were on the small side but as a city break we only slept their. Lovely quirky interior which was nice. Good variety of breakfast, no problems at all. Sushi bar opposite hotel, supermarket next door, off-licence opposite, bars at the end of the road and places to eat. Hotel is near to bus stop and meter station. Within walking distance to many tourist attractions. Highly recommend thank you for our pleasant stay in Budapest.
When we arrived in Budapest with nowhere to stay (as our hostel was closed) the Soho Boutique Hotel welcomed us in warmly, providing the friendliest customer service and best night's sleep of our trip! I would recommend to all travellers looking for a hotel in Budapest.
