We stayed at La Prima Fashion Hotel for three nights and the location is absolutely brilliant! It's really central, there are restaurants and cafes within a stones throw from the hotel and all major attractions are within walking distance. It was clean and the room was styled nicely, with a TV in a large mirror on the wall. Breakfast was good, but we stopped for coffee at nearby cafés as the coffee wasn't particularly nice. The only thing to mention is that the bathrooms could be updated, but they're OK for a short trip. As mentioned in other reviews, staff were helpful when we approached them, but they are quite reserved. Overall, a really good stay. Really recommended the hotel!
A four night stay on a sightseeing holiday to Budapest. This hotel was part of a very good deal with Jet2holidays. Pluses 1. Location - fantastic - just off Vaci Uta and walkable to most places in central Budapest. 2. Finish of bedrooms - nicely designed. Large mirror on wall opposite the bed, with a tv in it - a new one on me!! 3. Clean - a decent maid service. Minuses 1. Bathroom is small. The shower is very small in the corner of the room and being a 6 foot man was a little small. 2. Breakfast - this was adequate. Good range of items, and some good quality (eg cold meats and bread), but coffee not the best quality and the juice is watered down, and on the first morning the orange juice ran out, and it wasn’t available at all on the second. Some of the food was a little unusual for British breakfast taste (eg oriental rice) 3. The staff were functional rather than engaging. The waitress in the restaurant was leaning against the wall in the restaurant two mornings when we arrived and showed little interest in greeting us. The reception staff were only helpful when approached. There was no automatic greeting when we arrived or leaved. Overall, I think you get what you pay for. This is a decent, functional, well located hotel, but with a little effort could be really first class.
We stayed for three nights at the hotel in March. First the location is excellent, right on the watsi. Staff at reception are really welcoming and efficient. A rich breakfast, anyone can find what he wants. Very clean and aesthetic rooms. Recommend staying at this hotel for reasons I've listed above
Good, clean hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. The room was big enough, with a nice TV, and good size shower. I will recommend and come back to the same hotel in the future. Internet and business center was excellent to print your boarding passes.
I am currently staying at the hotel. There is a loud alarm coming from outside that began at 4:22am. After identifying that the sound isn’t coming from the hotel, the front desk clerk informed us that it’s “not his responsibility” and there’s nothing more that he can do. Our complaints were met with exasperation and rudeness - as if we were the ones being annoying. While the fact that there is an alarm from an outside source is not the hotel’s fault, the unhelpful and even rude response from the staff is. This is a sad and unfortunate ending to an otherwise pleasant stay but based on his morning’s experience, I am unable to recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the 4 star hotel for three nights. The room was very clean, a great breakfast was served, and we experienced a very good service. The hotel is located at the center of the city and it is very easy to get every where
Stayed here for city break (22/25 February) Hotel was perfect Room was lovely so comfortable, spotless, bathroom adequate for short stay.bit on small side. Reception staff were very helpful(especially Nicky)all were very knowledgeable. Water and coffee package free on arrival, but had to ask for more coffee etc for rest of stay, but wasn't a problem and free.Just point out NO kettle in rooms. Breakfast was plentiful with everything you could want Had to que for table,it was very busy, but didn't wait long.It was very busy, Hotel in lovely area, quiet at night for sleeping. Would recommend this hotel for been central to getting around, If I was to go back, would definitely stay here, Loved it.
This hotel is in a perfect position to explore Budapest. Easily reached from the airport. 200E bus from terminal 2 at the airport to Kobanya-Kispest(last stop). Then metro line M3 to Ferenciek Ter. It is a 2 minute walk from Ferenciek Ter metro station and 4 minutes walk from Vorosmarty metro station. It is just a few minute walk from Elizabeth Bridge to cross over to Buda or to walk along the Danube. The hotel it's self is set just off Vaci Utca, a street with shops and restaurants mostly that do not open until 10.00 but are then open late into the night. The room we had was very adequate for a city break. It was a good size with a mirror that took up most of the walk with a tv set in it. Comfortable beds and small bathroom perfectly adequate for a short stay. Clean and well kept room. The breakfast had a very good selection of hot and cold dishes. Great variety. The reception staff were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it.
Great location, staff very helpful, free tea in lobby but they charge you for the coffee in your room. However and a big plus they give you a handy phone you can take out of the hotel and use as you want, calls wifi etc. Best thing I can say is I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.
This hotel is located in the heart of the city. It is walking distance from most beautiful attractions in Budapest. It is almost on the bank of the Dinuba river. The hotel has beautiful rooms. Breakfast is amazing, very large selection of food, beautifully displayed. Service is fantastic!!!
