Friendly and welcoming staff Good location Nice and clean suite with huge and comfortable bed Great communication I've got a special request and was surprised, how the hotel personnel responded politely and was willing to help with everything. Overall solution was superb. Offer for breakfast is good but every day almost the same and could contain more fresh fruit
The hotel is very very nice - it is a business hotel, greatly located , very modern look and a very nice reception staff. We got the family room and it was great ! I will for sure come back ! The breakfast is so great BUT all the bread & cakes products was OLD AND DRY. For such a wonderful perfect hotel, it was not clear to me why is that...the bread is hard and not edible, we try them all for 2 days and was the same, very strange. as well, wi fi in the rooms is weak. All the rest was PERFECT ! The restaurant of the hotel is closed on the weekend, pay attention to that . Parking can be done at the street, it was easy to find and we paid by coins .
Rude service and dirty dishes with really poor offerings, if this the result in case of having breakfast included, I prefer to pay for it. Bar the same, almost no menu and no ice. Service at reception quite nice and helpful.
The location is quite convenient and the rooms are bigger than average, suitable for families of 3 and more. The staff was very kind and responsive, the breakfast was nice. We had a nice time and would recommend it to others. The rooms on the last floor have inadequate AC; can be problematic during summer. The cleaning of the rooms was not always spot-on.
Located at Battyani just across the Danube from the Hungarian Parliament, the hotel is only about 10 min walk or just one tram-stop ride from the Battyani metro station (also tram & bus stop), which offers the best spot to view the stunning night lights of the parliament building. Just another tram ride down to the next stop at Clark Adam tunnel is also the west-bank end of the Szecheny chain bridge, which can be crossed on foot to the Left side. I stayed in a spacious room with an outdoor patio with a partial view of the parliament and St Stephan's church. The carpet was in a bit dull color, making it hard to check if it's dusty or the hue, but the overall value was good.
We had a company conference here - with the hope to have 4-star service at a 4-star hotel. The rooms look nice - as long as you don't need wifi in your room located at the end of the corridor. There is no signal at all - so for business forget about it. Next morning you will be offered to move to another room closer to the router - and this is a daily routine, they are ready to handle this. Would make more sense to fix the wifi. Restaurant is poor, meal is poor as well. No good selection on the breakfast table, if you go for a company buffet lunch and dinner afterwards you have a good chance to be served the same dishes with some minor changes. Unbelievable. In the conference room you will get the cheapest water from Tesco. Coke and Sprite and all in 1.5 or 2 ltr bottles - and everything is taken away after 30 mins. Then during the next coffee break you will get the same stuff back - and all of this is 6-7 EUR per person. This (not the price!) is OK in a budget place somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but definitely not in a 4-star hotel. Don't expect anything better in the bar either - if you are lucky enough you may find 2 types of beers (the cheapest possible of course). We were not that lucky: there was only 1 type, and they ran out of it as well. The wine selection is white, red and rosé (I am serious - 1 type of each). When I asked the barman how this can happen in a 4-star hotel, he asked me not to taunt him. I am regularly organizing company events - but never experienced this kind of quality issues. I do not recommend this place for any kind of company events.
the hotel is located near to the danube in a small and quite street. not only the streed is small but the garage entrance is very challenging. i had an opel astra and was not easy to drive onthe narrow way down and out. nevertheless you can practice and improve your skills, but with a bigger car ... well i would not recommend. the rooms are very spacious, clean. staff helpful - all in all a nice place. on point less because the terrace tables were not cleaned - not nice to have a breakfast in a dusty environment-
Hotel situated in the buda side of the city. Not much around hotel, if i was on my own dont think i would feel safe. Not great for transport area. We booked hotel suite which was great as it has one bed and pull down couch. The hotel had given us double bed and no sheets for pull down couch had to go and ask bed linen and pillows. Night porter was very helpful. No englush room information. Although they say there is 3 english speaking tv chanel none of them work. Air con very poor. Balcony nice. If u smoke there is no smoking even on balcony or outside front door of hotel. Breakfast very poor. Our suite was on 5th floor. Room carpet needs replacing. If u want a heat go to fridge, not kidding fridge hot inside. Free water in fride id 2 medium bottles. Have to pay 50 euro on a card for any room service. Will get it back if u dont use less tax 1 euro per day. Staff are nice but hotel not great. Also in back street out of the way. Toilet nice.
Room of this hotel was very nice and confortable. Location wise, this place was great. It is just a few meters away from finding under ground and tram lines. There are a lot of hotels and cafes nearby. Breakfast of this hotel also offers a lot of variety.
Stayed at Regnum Residence for five nights in May. Reception staff were excellent - very helpful, polite and pleasant to talk to. Rooms were spacious and modern. Air conditioning did not work too well .Rooms were not cleaned that well and frequently had to call to request items that should have been replenished on a daily basis. Breakfast was bland and did not offer many options. Lack of fresh fruit was disappointing. Cheese, cold meat and bread were the best options. Hotel is in a quiet location , on Buda side and close to Danube. Some of the major attractions are within walking distance. A few restaurants close to the hotel. The Mandragora restaurant is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and is well worth a visit - the best food we had during our 5 days in Budapest. As there were four of us , we booked a taxi to pick us up from the airport (the hotel organised this) - cost was 10,000 forints from airport to hotel and 9000 forints for the return journey.
