Average good hotel. :) Clean rooms, nice personnel (at least the ones I could talk with). Large Tesco nearby, closest metro station is 15 minutes walk away. We were especially impressed by breakfast options (lot of them, all very tasty). (Never seen fruit salad and smoothies in a 4 star hotel.)
Starting 4 a.m., the security staff is taking out the trash containers to the street and organizing them in a loud manner, not allowing people accomodated at the back of the hotel to sleep. Full of anger as this lasted for two hours, I called the reception at around 6 a.m. I was told that, first, I had to call two hours before, and second, this was their job which they had to do. The staff is probably interested in that their guests do not sleep but write reviews on Trip Advisor. Well, at that moment, they start to load the trash on a truck. Looks there is no cure to the situation. The only way is not to come here again. One thing I have to say: The room is good and clean (for that they get a poin) but I somehow expect a good night sleep here.
Nice place and great food ❤️ The stuff was pretty good, but not very friendly. The room design it's big, awesome and modern. For me was perfect and exactly what I needed for a short trip. Definitely worth it.
Located in the residential area - 15 minutes walk to subway and another 20+ minutes subway ride to city center. There is 24/7 Tesco supermarket nearby. Hotel is large, new and clean. However bathrooms need some work - shower head is set very low and can't be adjusted, shower curtain is from the cheapest possible material. Also very limited number of power outlets in the room (though reception offered a power strip).
Good Staff, very helpful ,rooms are large and equipped with coffee and tea cooker. Carpets are a little bit dirty and some of the bathrooms equipped with shower only needs a better bathroom hygiene. Rooms which are equipped with a bathroom with bathtubs are a touch better. In the last year it is visible that overall hygiene is getting better but it needs more to work on. I have been guest here for at least 10 times in the last couple of years and i see improvement, just recently it became very expensive. Pity is that Management takes not to much care about frequent guests and does not offer them any extras for the locality to there house.
Been here myself and my husband few weeks ago. It was a very pleasant experience; room was very nice and clean, hotel was not far away from metro (10mins away brisk walking), very near to Tesco supermarket (opens 24/7) and we ate there breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was buffet and was very generous that includes loads of items: bread, cheese, salads, eggs, bacon, typical Hungarian items, fresh carrot juices, sweet cakes, noodles and so much more. The only downfall was the dinner; it depends on how many persons are there in the hotel. If there are few than you are offered a set menu which I am not sure if its freshly prepared. If there are lots of people staying at the hotel, then there will be a buffet. Not that much from where to choose from but it's ok. I highly suggest not to eat there especially dinner since food is very cheap in Hungary/Budapest and I am sure you'll find somewhere in the inner city. Overall we were very happy with the service. Thumbs up!
Rooms are clean, quiet and spacious - funny touch are the colourchanging lights. Unfortunately quite far away of the center. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of food. Hotel has a parking garage
on the plus side: rooms are spacious, the hotel is quite new and mostly everything works on the "improvement is needed" side: area can be noisy, there was a dog barking outside 2 nights in a row, people shouting outside. I came back on the second day in my room and found the ironing board and flat iron out of the cupboard. Why? no idea I had not used these on the first day. Staff were not friendly at the front desk, did not ask if my stay went well..if they had I would have mentioned the iron table incident. Beware there is no minibar or bottled water in the room, but there are unnecessary toiletries..do they have their priorities right?
Although the hotel is in the city, there is nothing interesting nearby. It is a big large hotel, standard equipment. Spacious rooms, WIFI, big TV set, comfort bed. Room is airconditioned. Only strange thing is the shower without door. Parking is possible outside or in the underground garage. What is excellent is the breakfest. This is outstanding. Staff is litlle bit untrained. In hotel is an fittness, I did not have time to test it.
A fine place for sleeping. However, if you want to be in the city, don't go here. Walk to metro is 10 mins, trip downtown is 15, followed by connections - which might be 5-10 - meaning at least 30 mins from any sense of city life. Situated in a residential / developing space. Staff are basic, not particularly bound to service - a few instances of price manipulation and fraud (on food / drink). Good about getting taxis. The restaurant closes at 10, as do the nearby food sources (fast food). Almost zero choices for food after 10, except of a grocery store nearby. Total food desert for restaurants. No refrigerators. Some clients had a hard time getting basic services, like towels. If you wish for budget, this is the spot. Basic. That said, the food was fine, price was fair for the room.
