I Reservation made for 5 days by the medical clinic located just a few minutes away. That was the only convenience and positive aspect of this hotel. Otherwise, deeply disappointed for the following reasons: - No BASIC toilet amenities - not even a tiny bar of soap! the liquid soap dispenser in the shower was empty. There is a sign posted that some "amenities" are provided free UPON REQUEST. Who thinks about doing a list request when doing a late check-in? Then upon request I received one little bottle of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body cream. Never received anymore for my additional days.. I guess I was supposed to request EACH DAY? At a 4-star hotel???? My bed sheets were NEVER changed during my 5-day stay! Same for bath towels. My wash cloth provided the first day was removed and never replaced. Twice in my 5-day stay I had to request my room to be done as it was past 3:00pm and still not cleaned. Breakfast was an additional Euro15/day. After the first morning breakfast which I found utterly unappetizing (even the coffee was weak - no matter under which form - and the mini croissants were hard and tasteless) I asked the front desk to remove the breakfast from remaining days and was told it was impossible. (Even though the first night I checked-in the room price was without breakfast since I was not allowed to have any before my medical procedure). So the next 5 days I paid for a breakfast buffet which I never ate at. The entire stay was miserable. The only positive points were: (1) good internet/WiFi (2) hotel located near the medical facility where I had a procedure (The clinic has a "special arrangement" with the hotel to accommodate patients coming to Budapest for various medical procedures at more advantageous prices than nearby countries. (3) hotel was also walking distance from a large shopping center. (4) Walking distance to a METRO station, albeit difficult to find and not well-marked. I can't believe this was a 4-star hotel! So unless you are going for a medical procedure at the nearby medical clinic and you have no choice because it is the only hotel nearby, I am sure you can do better elsewhere.
Overpriced for what was offered. The big conference room is like an airplane, so no one could see or hear anything at the back. Various complaints from the room such as smell from the kitchen and problematic bathroom.
I stayed only one night, but I can tell that room was clean, cozy and quite space-full. Bathroom was also clean and big enough. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices for everyone. As a minus, there was an odor in bathroom, probably coming from lack of ventilation, or poor ventilation.
stayed several times, but will chose different hotel with better location and quality for next stay. These don't look like Radisson standards. Point for attention is quick check-in and check-out next to giving good rooms to correct people. People who stay more often should get better rooms, long people need good kingsize bed and short people single bed.
We booked two free nights here with Club Carlsson points. If I had done my homework properly, I would have gone with the Radisson blu instead. The hotel is far from the city centre in an area that is mixed residencial (think Soviet style apartment bunkers) and industrial. The closest metro station is a 10-minute walk, and from there it is a 10-minute ride into the city. It's not terrible, but if you are visiting as a tourist, it is nicer to be closer to the action. The hotel itself is pretty standard. Adecuate, but nothing special. The bed was good, but the duvet only reached to the edges of it, no overhang, so it there is two you in the bed, you will play a lot of tug of war. Placement of the shower head was bizarre, very very low and pointing sideways. No amenities apart from a kettle and a minimal quantity of coffee and tea. The toilet brush was missing its handle and looked pretty disgusting on the outside. Staff was not unfriendly per se, but not exactly overflowing with friendliness or helpfulness either. On our second night we were tired, and after a quick rest we couldn't be bothered trekking back to the city, and since there is nothing around, we decided to have a quick meal in the hotel restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food (service again adequate but nothing more). Breakfast was also very good (lots of choice, something there for everybody) except for the watery juice.
Good rooms, clean, huge breakfast, but mostly this hotel is superb for it's staff, they are ever so service-minded, If I owned a hotel I would have sent my staff to the same training as these most have gone to. Only minus is distance to Budapest center, but with metro og taxi it's not that far.
Arrived on a Monday afternoon, in town for business purposes. Staff wasn't the most friendly I've met. Was the first time I have not been helped with the luggage up to my room, even tho I was visibly stuggling with a few bags. Initially given a room with a persistent food smell, they've sent 2 cleaning ladies to check the bathroom (didnt understand the revelance but okay). After asking foro an eventual room change, their flexibility was 0 and was instantly refused. Had to call my company and ask to contact them. Was given a card that did not function, had to go 4 times up and down the stairs, they did not seem to be bothered to come up and check. Hotel facilities were not presented, had to ask myself for all. Overall, disappointed with their attitude. The rooms are clean with comfy beds, quite comfortable. Aspect is nice and tidy, nothing spectacular. Would expect way way more from a 4 star tho.
The Park Inn is an average business class hotel and its major plus point for me was that it was just around the block from the company office. The plus points: Check-in / Check-out went without a hitch, the receptionist for the check-out was polite and efficient. The room (#1062) was spacious and the sleeping comfort, not bad. The bathroom was big and consequently so was the shower area. Breakfast was ample with a good choice of local products, plus it was the first time I'd had a coddled egg in years. Dining was OK, the staff polite, and the menu ok for a hotel without a restaurant at such, dinner was served in the Bar/Lounge area but the main thing was that the food was served hot and relatively quickly, service was attentive Minus Points: Breakfast; The scrambled eggs were powdered, the same as you get almost everywhere in the world, were already cold less than 30 minutes after service start, as was the bacon and the sausages. Room: On entering the room, it smelled alternatively of cooking or stale used water from the bathroom. Shame it rather spoils the first impression of the room on entering. Go again? For a business trip, yes. For a romantic weekend, no!
Is situated in the industrial area. Do not expect a good view from the window. With suitcases nobody came to help. Simply there is none to do. To find the entrance to the hotel from the underground parking - a special quest. Dine in the restaurant is very expensive. Although the quality of the food decent. In the room was not very clean. Toilet brush was broken. No reaction to change it after my phone call. Breakfast is excellent and fast. Check-in and check-out nice and fast.
Good hotel, not a big hotel since only have 5 floor. The room is clean and big. The breakfast is good. Hotel staff is polite. Very satisfied for the stay during tour in budapest. I stay for 1 night in 11 feb. Recomended hotel
