Great helpful staff, excellent free breakie, nice restaurant in terrific position opposite park near Parliament house, near heaps of shopping, bars and restaurants. On the Pest side where you want to be. Great big room with everything, art a bit quirky but overall a great experience and hotel.

Our first visit to Budapest had a great start. The Iberostar Grand Hotel is a beautiful place that as once an apartment building. Zsombor greeted us at the door and took our baggage. Even though his shift was finished he stayed with us throughout the registration process and showed us our room and how everything worked. He was so friendly, cheerful, helpful and great ambassador for Budapest. He provided a terrific way to start a wonderful four day visit. High praise for Zsombor

The Iberostar Grand is a gorgeous hotel, in a super location. Our room was a "junior suite", was huge, and was beautifully appointed. The bathroom alone was as big as some hotel rooms in Europe. The bed was big and comfortable and had a 4-post canopy above it. It was a corner suite, overlooking a park and a trendy street. Double windows kept the noise out, and powered blackout curtains kept the light out. It was almost perfect. Except... During our first night the linens got a bit dirty, so we asked for them to be changed. Only the bedsheets was changed. The stained pillowcase remained, and a stain on the mattress cover remained visible through the clean sheet. Not pretty. We generally like to explore in the morning so opt out of included hotel breakfasts. On our second morning it was rainy so we decided to order an a-la-carte breakfast at the hotel. We were informed by the restaurant that this was not possible as they only served the 20 Euro hotel breakfast. While we were eating we saw other patrons ordering off an a-la-carte menu. When I complained I was told that a regular menu was available but that hotel guests were not allowed to order from it! I told the front desk that it seemed a bit odd that a hotel guest should be penalized for patronizing the hotel restaurant. The restaurant agreed to reduce my bill, but only after a lecture advising me how they told me how much my breakfast would cost, and that I agreed to pay it. I'm not sure if I could recommend this hotel until management shortcomings were properly addressed.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Iberostar and loved the hotel! The staff was very friendly and we loved the location. There is a park right next to the hotel that you can walk through to get to the Parliament building (less than 5 minute walk). It is a very pretty area and if you are a dog lover, you will enjoy watching locals walk their dogs through the park. The rooms are very spacious, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. The hotel is located on a very nice street (Oktober) with a lot of good restaurant options. We at breakfast in the hotel the first morning, but it was pricey. There is a restaurant called Mayer Cafe right across the street where you can get a really good breakfast for a very affordable price. Overall, can't say enough nice things about the hotel. Would definitely recommend it!

The hotel was absolutely delightful, beautifully decorated and very comfy. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough. Victoria was fab :) a special thanks to her for being great! The location of the hotel is perfect for all sightseeing and local attractions. Truly faultless hotel and I would definitely recommend to stay here.

Our third night here. Great position to walk anywhere. Very comfortable room, huge bathroom with bath and seperate shower and toilet.. breakfast was included, didn't eat dinner here or try the spa. Bathroom had a glass wall which was unusual!

We had the pleasure of spending 4 wonderful nights at this marvellous hotel! Sadly we had several nights first at another hotel which was included in the river cruise package we had just completed. Infact the other hotel was so bad, it made me feel that service in Budapest was appalling!! All that changed once we stayed at the Iberostar Grand. Wow! Not only is it's gorgeous interior and décor impressive, the location is so convienient and walkable but the service is second to none! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone considering visiting this beautiful city and hope to stay there again. 11 out of 10 !!

Excellent Hotel and great location. My advice would be to walk a short distance from hotel and you have a wonderful a variety of restaurants for breakfast/lunch & dinners. Can highly recommend the Caviar & Bull Restaurant for a fantastic dinner.
