Myself and my husband stayed here over the Silverstone weekend in July. Ian is an exceptional host!!! His family and 2 dogs made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Ian was very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. I am coeliac and he was very helpful in contacting me before we arrived to find out dietary requirements. We highly recommend skies call bed and breakfast.

Me, my partner and his family stayed here for the weekend as we were in the area for a gig and it was a perfect find. Ian, his family and the little dogs were really welcoming and breakfast was amazing. Our room was beautiful and I wish I could of taken the bed home with me. I thought it was a lovely touch having a make-up dresser, was great for getting ready to go out. Would definitely recommend staying here and if we are in the area again, we will certainly be booking up at skies call.

My husband I stayed here over Christmas and New Year's while visiting family in the village. Ian was a most gracious host. He was so flexible with our breakfast needs and times, he went out of his way to get us anything we might need, including scrounging up a football (soccer ball) inflation needle. The suite was very generously sized with ample storage. The amenities in the room were fantastic including a tea kettle with tea or cocoa and biscuits (cookies). There was even a vanity table set up in the closet so that I could do my hair and make-up in comfort. We didn't use the garden (backyard) but it did look very inviting. For those sensitive to light, the Westerly room does face the street which a street lamp shining into the room. I like to sleep in a cave and cover every tiny light in my home bedroom, so I came prepared with my eye mask and was just fine. We had a really great time and look forward to staying there again some time in the future.

Skies Call was excellent in every respect, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast and the perfect host in Ian, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We will revisit if ever back in the area.

My husband and I stayed in the Westerly room for three nights. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and the bed was very comfortable. Our en-suite was spacious too with a big shower with good water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning in the orangery. Skies Call is well placed for people to visit some interesting places nearby, and Ian was an excellent and attentive host. If we ever come back that way we would definitely stay again.

This was my second stay at Skies Call & I can’t wait to stay there again. Ian & Lisa are fabulous hosts & make you feel so welcome. My friend & I stayed in the twin room again; it’s so comfortable & the toiletries smell amazing. We where in the area again for our annual equestrian event & Ian sorted our breakfast nice & early so we could get away for our event. The westies Daisy & Lily are so adorarable but Ian will keep them away if you don’t like dogs. I fully recommend this B&B if you are in the area; it really was home from home. See you the same time next year Ian & Lisa.

I stayed at this b&b for three nights and it was one of the best I have known. My room had a good variety of toiletries and also tea and coffee. Ian was the most accommodating and pleasant host and nothing was too much trouble for him. He prepared delicious breakfasts early so I could get to work on time. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this superb accommodation.

I stayed here for one night with my daughter, when attending a nearby equestrian event. Our twin room was absolutely spotless, with lovely relaxing decor. In addition to a hospitality tray, the "tuck box" was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and we both slept well. Ian's breakfast was delicious and served in the light and stylish conservatory. Ian kindly recommended a great restaurant for dinner. Westies, Jet and Daisy, were every bit as welcoming as our host. Thank you Ian, we look forward to seeing you next time we come to a competition.

I stayed at Skies Call on Tuesday 17 October as I was going for an interview nearby the next day. I wanted somewhere comfortable, safe and relaxing with a high standard of facility. I got all that and more. The owner was extremely warm and helpful and the room and overall house was spotless, well designed and cosy. I felt safe as a single traveller and I was quite happy in my room for the evening and night though the owner will recommend and help you to book dinner if you want it. The bed was large and comfortable. Tea and coffee (and biscuits) provided. They even have a tuck hamper filled with snacks and drinks if you want to purchase them for a very reasonable price - unlike the mini bars at the major hotels. The bedding was of a good quality. I really liked the little dressing room and wardrobe area. As a woman it seems hard to find good quality accommodation that provides adequate lighting and mirrored areas for make up and hair etc and they'd thought of this. I especially like the little electric candles in the bedroom and bathroom. I enjoyed using them. They have also put some hand little power cubes on both sides of the bed, so if like me you enjoy using all of your gadgets, there's plenty of sockets to use. Normally I find I'm scrabbling around the back of cabinets or beds trying to find sockets and ending up with my phone, which I use as an alarm, on the other side of the room or trying to decide whether to charge my laptop or my phone. They've thought of practically everything you might need. The bathroom had a large shower with good water pressure, nicely designed again and fabulous fresh smelling towels. Breakfast was well cooked with good choices and good conversation with the owner and two very talkative dogs (which the owner will remove if you don't like them) but I thought they were lovely. I didn't see fruit juices but I believe you just need to ask for them. All in all a great stay, was over and above my expectations and the most important bit - I got the job! I'm sure the B&B helped to relax me.

We stayed at Skies Call for a couple of nights as it was perfectly situated to visit Bicester Designer Outlet Village, Bicester Heritage and Bletchley Park. We had a warm reception from Ian who remained attentive with genuine interaction throughout our stay. Our twin room "Easterly" at the back of the house overlooks a beautiful garden. Clean decoration with fresh crisp linen, toiletries, free wifi, a tuck box with snacks for purchase, hairdryer and the usual tea/coffee/kettle provisions. Our only comment would be that the early morning summer sun streams through the window blinds so we would suggest you bring eye masks if you prefer blackout conditions. Ian and his wife have two adorable dogs but if they are not to your liking then they can be kept out of the way. The whole house is spotless, clutter free with no evidence of dog hairs or doggie smells. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and cooked to your liking (including GF options). Highly recommended and thanks very much for making our Birthday celebrations so successful.
